Abstract: A method for monitoring the operation of a sensor is provided. The method comprises the step of representing the operation of the sensor by: i) storing a plurality of data values, each data value corresponding to the sensor output signal, wherein said step is performed during a time period such that said data values are distributed over a range of possible data values, ii) defining a plurality of discrete intervals within said range of possible data values; and iii) calculating the frequency of the data values within each interval thus forming a sensor representation. The method further comprises the steps of receiving at least one reference sensor representation; and comparing said sensor representation with said at least one reference sensor representation.

Abstract: A tile or masonry saw assembly may include a saw and a frame. The saw includes a motor operable to turn a blade of a blade assembly to cut a workpiece. The blade assembly is internally wetted during operation by nozzles disposed on opposing sides of the blade to provide water onto the blade within a blade guard configured to shield a portion of the blade. The frame is operably coupled to the saw to support the workpiece. The frame supports a water collecting system for collecting the water. The water collecting system includes a water tank that is removable from the frame.

Abstract: A diagonal gasket support (22) in a heat exchanger cassette adapted for a heat exchanger having a contact-free flow channel (28), where the cassette (11, 29) comprises two plates (12) of the same type, where each plate is provided with a corrugated pattern having a plurality of ridges (19) and valleys (20), characterized in that the diagonal gasket support (22) comprises a plurality of indentations (23) and protrusions (24) positioned adjacent each other along a diagonal gasket groove (21). The advantage of such a diagonal gasket support is that a contact-free support at the diagonal gasket is obtained.

Abstract: A plate package made according to the method includes first heat exchanger plates and second heat exchanger plates. Each heat exchanger plate has a first porthole, and the port hole of at least one of the heat exchanger plates is surrounded by a peripheral rim. The first heat exchanger plates and the second heat exchanger plates, are joined to each other and arranged side by side in such a way that the peripheral rims together define an inlet channel extending through the plate package. The peripheral rim of the first and/or the second heat exchanger plates has at least one through hole, forming a fluid passage allowing a communication between the inlet channel and the first plate interspaces. The at least one through hole is made in a condition in which the first and the second heat exchanger plates have been joined to each other to form the plate package.

Each heat exchanger plate has a pattern forming a heat transfer area and a plurality of porthole areas. Each heat exchanger plate extends along a main extension plane. The areas extend, on one side of the heat exchanger plate, between a primary level at a distance from the main extension plane and a secondary level at a distance from and on an opposite side of the main extension plane. Each heat exchanger plate has a depth defined by the distance between the primary level and the secondary level. The depth is equal to or less than 1.0 mm.

Abstract: Extended television (TV) reminders enable a user to add a reminder about a TV program or other content in a communication network, a reminder that can be connected to either an event from the EPG or just a time and date. If the user is logged in on an Internet protocol (IP) TV system, the reminder can be displayed on the user's TV display, and if the user is not logged in, a message can be sent to a user device, e.g., a Short Message Service (SMS), text, or other message. Choices presented to the user when a reminder occurs can include accept, snooze (for a configurable amount of time), and delete, among others. If the reminder is connected to a linear TV program, an option to record the program can also be presented (if allowed by the user's subscription and equipment). Reminders are preferably stored in the network, e.g., as a part of a user's service profile.

The network node receives a communication service request from a communications terminal. The network node determines that a subscriber account associated with the communications terminal has entered a limited service mode. The network node responds to the receipt of the communication service request and to the determination by authorizing the requested communication service in a restricted direct access mode for the subscriber account based on the requested communication service being directed to a telephone number that is among at least one subscriber defined telephone number in the subscriber account. Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system in an IP-based mobile communication network for actively probing a tunneled transmission path from a base station such as an eNB to a core network. A UE-emulator emulates a User Equipment (UE) and provides emulated NAS signaling to a Probe Connection Control (PCC) unit in the base station, which establishes the tunneled transmission path by forwarding the NAS signaling received from the emulator toward the core network. The PCC stores associated communication endpoints and UE-assigned IP addresses. A Probe Traffic Control (PTC) unit within the base station utilizes the stored endpoints and IP addresses to generate probe traffic through the tunneled transmission path toward a probe server or another base station configured as a probe reflector. The probe reflector collects and reports path properties such as packet loss, delay, jitter, and throughput.

The guardian terminal does not need to have an application for remote authorization running on the terminal.
