  • Publication number: 20210056915
Abstract: Image data for a current image frame may be compensated for transient response variations due to changes to pixel values from one frame to another over time by performing pixel drive compensation. The pixel drive compensation may be performed using a current pixel value and a historical pixel value. The historical pixel value may be the same as a pixel value in the directly previous frame in some conditions, while in other conditions the historical pixel value may be modified from a previous image frame in light of a prior pixel value occurring before the previous image frame. In this way, drive compensation corresponding to image data of a subsequent image frame may be determined based at least in part on a multi-frame history. Even so, the memory bandwidth and/or power consumed to use a multi-frame history to determine a drive compensation may be reduced.

  • Patent number: 10929211
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for identification and traceability of application programming interface (API) functionality in a distributed computing environment. A server retrieves source code comprising API calls from source code repositories, and parses the source code to identify a first set of APIs, each having one or more attributes. The server retrieves API definitions and parses the API definitions to identify a second set of APIs, each having one or more attributes. The server compares the first set of APIs and the second set of APIs to determine matching APIs. Using the matching APIs, the server detects backend systems associated with each API and generates a call graph for each API by traversing abstract syntax trees (ASTs) associated with the source code. The server builds an API model object for each API, comprising the attributes of the API, the detected backend systems, and the call graph.

  • Patent number: 10929311
Abstract: Methods and systems for backing up data to a target device are described. According to some embodiments, the method receives a first set of data packets for backup, where the first set of data packets includes a multiplicity of data chunks. The method further captures footprints of the first set of data packets in a cache disk array. In response to receiving an acknowledgement from the cache disk array indicating the footprints have been captured, the method further initiates a write operation to write each data chunk of the first set of data packets to the target device. In response to receiving an acknowledgement indicating the data chunk is successfully written, the method further flushes the respective footprint of the data chunk from the cache disk array.

  • Publication number: 20210051312
Abstract: Methods, systems, and techniques for enhancing use of two-dimensional (2D) video analytics by using depth data. Two-dimensional image data representing an image comprising a first object is obtained, as well as depth data of a portion of the image that includes the first object. The depth data indicates a depth of the first object. An initial 2D classification of the portion of the image is generated using the 2D image data without using the depth data. The initial 2D classification is stored as an approved 2D classification when the initial 2D classification is determined consistent with the depth data. Additionally or alternatively, a confidence level of the initial 2D classification may be adjusted depending on whether the initial 2D classification is determined to be consistent with the depth data, or the depth data may be used with the 2D image data for classification.

  • Patent number: 10922180
Abstract: A technique for handling uncorrected memory errors (UEs) inside a kernel text section, the kernel text section being stored in a memory that is operably coupled to a CPU executing kernel program instructions. In an embodiment, a UE is detected that affects the kernel text section. The current instruction affected by the UE is identified. The UE-affected instruction is recovered by loading a copy thereof into the memory from a kernel image maintained in persistent storage. The UE-affected instruction is emulated using the copy of the UE-affected instruction. The instruction pointer of the CPU is then incremented to point to a next instruction in the memory that would normally be executed by the UE-affected instruction had there been no UE.
