  • Patent number: 10520101
Abstract: A contoured check valve disc features a pivot portion and a check valve portion. The check valve portion is attached to the pivot portion, and has two sides, a first side to respond to the fluid flow in a first direction and move the check valve portion away from a fluid opening to the one or more open positions depending on the fluid flow to allow the fluid to flow through the fluid opening, and a second and opposing side to respond to fluid flow in an opposite direction through the fluid opening and move the check valve portion towards the fluid opening to the closed position to seal the fluid opening and stop fluid flow.

  • Patent number: 10523224
Abstract: An integrated circuit includes a signal network and a phase detector circuit. The signal network includes an adjustable delay circuit. The adjustable delay circuit is coupled at an intersection in the signal network between branches of the signal network. The signal network generates a first signal at a first leaf node of the signal network in response to a second signal. The signal network generates a third signal at a second leaf node of the signal network in response to the second signal. The phase detector circuit compares phases of the first and third signals to generate a phase detection signal. The adjustable delay circuit adjusts a delay provided to the first signal relative to the second signal to reduce a skew between the first and third signals based on the phase detection signal indicating that the first and third signals have the skew.

  • Publication number: 20190392067
Abstract: Embodiments allow a primary database system (“primary”) to automatically detect queries directed to the primary database that may be offloaded to a standby database system (“standby”), and then to automatically offload the offload-eligible queries to a standby. The primary identifies offload-eligible queries based on a record of up-to-date database objects within each standby that replicates the primary database. The record of up-to-date standby objects is updated based on heartbeat messages from each standby, and commit timestamps for transactions on the primary. Evaluation of whether a query is offload-eligible is triggered by one or more trigger conditions that include: inclusion of an offload optimizer hint in the query, an estimated run-time of the query, etc. Embodiments further allow an offloaded query over particular changed data in the primary database to access, on a standby database, uncommitted changes made to the particular data in the primary database.

  • Publication number: 20190394087
Abstract: A device can receive virtual network function (VNF) data associated with multiple VNFs. The device can generate multiple configuration templates that are to be used by a network design tool that is capable of creating a design of a network for an organization. The device can receive, from a user device, object data associated with network design objects that have been added to or removed from the interface of the network design tool. The device can generate multiple VNF configuration files that allow two or more of the multiple VNFs to be supported by network devices associated with the organization. The device can perform actions associated with configuring two or more of the multiple VNFs onto the network devices to permit the network devices to utilize virtual resources while executing the two or more of the multiple VNFs.

  • Publication number: 20190387556
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products relating to anchoring a wireless device to a wireless controller. A type of a network device is identified based on data included in a network message received at a first wireless local area network (LAN) controller (WLC). It is determined, based on the identified type, that the network device should be anchored to a pre-determined anchor WLC. An anchor request message is transmitted from the first WLC to the pre-determined anchor WLC. A network traffic tunnel is established between the network device and the pre-determined anchor WLC such that network traffic from the network device can be controlled by the pre-determined anchor WLC.

  • Publication number: 20190386984
Abstract: There is provided systems and methods for two-factor authentication through ultrasonic audio transmissions. A user may utilize a first device request to process a transaction electronically by providing an electronic payment using an online service provider. When utilizing the service provider, authentication for the user's payment instrument and/or the user's account with service provider may require two-factor authentication using a one-time password that is unknown to the user and generated for the specific authentication request. The password may be generated and sent to a second device registered for the user and/or their account. The second device may process an ultrasonic handshake request with the first device, and may respond to the first device with an ultrasonic communication including the password. The first device may then automatically enter the password to the two-factor authentication process.
