    Abstract: Disclosed is a composition for selective enrichment of progressively motile non-fragmented/intact DNA sperms during swim-up of semen sample comprising combination of electrolytes, a mix of excipients, polyyvinylpyrrolidone, recombinant human serum albumin or bovine serum albumin. A method of selective enrichment of DNA-intact sperms using the compositions of the present invention is also disclosed. The DNA fragmentation index of the swim-up sperms are less than the DNA fragmentation index of the neat samples. The media compositions of the present invention are applicable for enrichment of non-fragmented/intact DNA sperms for therapeutic purposes in the field of assisted reproductive technologies.

    Abstract: This disclosure provide various techniques for reducing the impact of an under-display sensor on an electronic display. Some sensors (e.g., a proximity sensor), when activated, may emit a beam through the electronic display. Emitting the beam through the electronic display may cause pixels to display a different brightness level than intended. To address this, an electronic device may use spatially weighted statistics to determine a timing profile for the under-display sensor to reduce the sensor's interference on the pixels. Additionally, a compensation voltage may be applied to further reduce or eliminate the impacts of the interference.

    Abstract: This disclosure is directed towards tone mapping systems and methods that preserve contrast of fine features of an image and avoid brightening monotonic regions of the image. To preserve contrast and avoiding brightening of the monotonic regions, an image processing circuitry may include hardware that enables determining pixel statistics of an image, generating a tone mapping that is configured to adjust the color values of pixels in the image, and applying the tone mapping to at least the low frequency component of the image to produce an output image where the contrast of the fine details is preserved. In addition, the image processing circuitry may include hardware that enables adjusting the tone mapping based on variance bins in a histogram of pixel values and applying the adjusted tone mapping to produce an output image where the monotonic regions are not brightened.

A dual-control system may integrate both slow control operations and fast control operations into a cohesive brightness management system. By using both shorter-term (e.g., fast control) and longer-term (e.g., slow control) brightness adjustment operations, the electronic device may quickly respond to high luminance and high brightness situations that may cause burn-in into the display, image artifacts, or other damage. Responding quickly to these high consumption situations may prevent damage or perceivable upset to an ongoing process, among other benefits.
