  • Patent number: 11747142
Abstract: A device including microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) sensors are used in dead reckoning in conditions where Global Positioning System (GPS) signals or Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals are lost. The device is capable of tracking the location of the device after the GPS/GNSS signals are lost by using MEMS sensors such as accelerometers and gyroscopes. By calculating a misalignment angle between a forward axis of a sensor frame of the device and a forward axis of a vehicle frame using the data received from the MEMS sensors, the device can accurately calculate the location of a user or the vehicle of the device even without the GPS/GNSS signals. Accordingly, a device capable of tracking the location of the user riding in the vehicle in GPS/GNSS signals absent environment can be provided.

  • Patent number: 11740887
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a method of upgrading software defined networking (SDN) modules executing on a host computer. While a first version of the SDN modules is executing on the host computer to perform traffic processing, the method loads a second version of the SDN modules alongside the first version of the SDN modules such that the first and second versions of the SDN modules are executing on the host computer at the same time. The method saves runtime states from the first version of the SDN modules, and transfers responsibility for performing traffic processing from the first version of the SDN modules to the second version of the SDN modules. The method then restores the saved runtime states to the second version of the SDN modules.

  • Patent number: 11743234
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a method of upgrading a firewall module executing on a host computer to process traffic sent to and from machines executing on the host computer. While a first version of the firewall module executes on the host computer to process the traffic to and from the machines, the method loads a second version of the firewall module alongside the first version of the firewall module. For each of multiple ports associated with machines executing on the host computer for which the firewall module processes traffic sent to and from the port, the method saves a runtime state of the first version that relates to the port, transfers association of a firewall filter associated with the port from the first version to the second version, and restores the saved runtime state for the port to the second version.

  • Publication number: 20230267034
Abstract: A system is provided for code base sharing during computing application failure using a distributed register network. In particular, the system may comprise a plurality of computing application systems that are associated with one another and stored on a distributed register. In this regard, the distributed register may share a code base as well as processing logs for each application. The system may use a deep learning based machine learning process for identifying the dependencies, input data sources for each application, and expected data outputs. Accordingly, if an application experiences a failure, the payload of the failed application may be read and/or processed by another application to maintain the workflow. Furthermore, the system may use AI/ML processes to analyze the code base and/or system logs associated with application failures and generate recommendations for remediating failures.

  • Publication number: 20230269195
Abstract: A system is provided for detecting multi-dimensional linkage and layering of resource transfers using a distributed server network. In particular, the system may comprise a plurality of distributed server nodes that each host a copy of a distributed register, where each of the nodes may be operated by an entity. Each distributed server node may submit, to the distributed register, data records that may contain data regarding potential unauthorized users, accounts, and/or resource transfers. Based on the information within the distributed register, along with various other data inputs, the system may use a deep learning-based graph processing algorithm to identify a multi-dimensional linkage between the users, accounts, and/or resource transfers to extract hidden relationships and potentially unauthorized activity.

  • Patent number: 11734174
Abstract: Described is an low overhead method and apparatus to reconfigure a pair of buffered interconnect links to operate in one of these three modes—first mode (e.g., bandwidth mode), second mode (e.g., latency mode), and third mode (e.g., energy mode). In bandwidth mode, each link in the pair buffered interconnect links carries a unique signal from source to destination. In latency mode, both links in the pair carry the same signal from source to destination, where one link in the pair is “primary” and other is called the “assist”. Temporal alignment of transitions in this pair of buffered interconnects reduces the effective capacitance of primary, thereby reducing delay or latency. In energy mode, one link in the pair, the primary, alone carries a signal, while the other link in the pair is idle. An idle neighbor on one side reduces energy consumption of the primary.
