  • Patent number: 11601431
Abstract: Systems and methods for authenticating presumptively incompatible elements in a digital network are provided. A method may include receiving an access request from a client node in the network. The access request may be requesting access to an application in the network. The access request may be associated with a uniform resource identifier (“authURI”). The method may include extracting a target application from the URI. The method may include determining an authentication protocol that is supported by the target application. The method may include generating, based on the authentication protocol, a series of one or more authentication tests that, in combination, satisfy the authentication protocol. The authentication tests may satisfy the authentication protocol even when the client node natively supports a different authentication protocol. The method may include executing the series of authentication tests to authenticate the client node vis-à-vis the target application.

  • Patent number: 11601081
Abstract: A method for controlling switched reluctance machine (SRM) utilizing a SRM control system. The method allows for adaptive pulse positioning over a wide range of speeds and loads. An initial rotor position is provided for the SRM utilizing an initialization mechanism. A pinned point on a phase current waveform is defined during an initial current rise phase of the current waveform. A slope of the current rise is determined as the current waveform reaches the pinned point. The slope is then fed to the commutation module of the SRM control system. An error signal from calculated inductance or current slope is used as an input to a control loop in the SRM control system. The time determining module determines an optimum time signal to fire a next pulse. The optimum time signal is fed to the SRM for turning the plurality of SRM switches to on and off states.

  • Publication number: 20230069604
Abstract: Some embodiments use CRDs (custom resource definitions) to define resources in an O-RAN system. These resources include applications (xApps, rApps, etc.), components of these applications, deployment constructs, cloud constructs, AI/ML models and RTE constructs. Using these CRD descriptors, app developers can develop and distribute their applications in a platform independent manner. The CRDs of some embodiments are used to on board applications into an O-RAN system. In some embodiments, the SMO (Service, Management and Orchestration) framework of the O-RAN system has a service for processing CRDs. In some of these embodiments, this SMO service has one controller to process the new application CRD. In some embodiments, the SMO identifies clouds for placements of the deployed applications and directs Kubernetes managers of the identified clouds to deploy the applications.

  • Publication number: 20230068262
Abstract: A file server manager disclosed herein accesses information regarding a selected share of a source distributed file server for replication, where the selected share stores at least a portion of a namespace of storage items and is hosted by a first file server virtual machine of the source distributed file server. The file server manager accesses a mapping between virtual machines of the source distributed file server and virtual machines of the destination distributed file server and replicates the selected share to a second file server virtual machine of the destination distributed file server based on the mapping. The file server manager directs a request to read a first storage item to the destination distributed file server and directs a request to write to a second storage item to the source distributed file server while the destination distributed file server services the request to read the first storage item.

  • Patent number: 11586614
Abstract: Distributed ledgered data is stored within a distributed persistent storage system comprising multiple persistent storage systems as distributed ledgered participants. In various embodiments, the distributed ledgered data is maintained using the native capabilities of a persistent storage system. The distributed ledgered data is replicated as persistent data objects in a “ledgered repository of objects” that are replicated at each of the persistent storage systems. Changes at one persistent storage system are recorded within a block in a distributed blockchain that is distributed across each of the other distributed ledgered participants. The other distributed ledgered participants read the changes from the blockchain and apply the changes to the respective replicas at each of the other distributed ledgered participants. Hence, this approach is referred to as blockchain apply. Blockchain apply may be used to replicate the repository objects of various forms of PSSs.

  • Publication number: 20230051520
Abstract: Activity data of a set of tasks as a training set is obtained from a list of communication platforms associated with the tasks. For each of the tasks in the training set, a set of activity metrics is compiled according to a set of predetermined activity categories based on the activity data of each task. The activity metrics of all of the tasks in the training set are aggregated based on the activity categories to generate a data matrix. A principal component analysis is performed on the metrics of its covariance matrix to derive an activity dimension vector, where the activity dimension vector represents a distribution pattern of the activity metrics of the tasks. The activity dimension vector can be utilized to determine an activity score of a particular task, where the activity score of a task can be utilized to estimate a probability of completeness of the task.
