  • Patent number: 11611638
Abstract: A method and system of a re-assembly middleware in FPGA for processing TCP segments into application layer messages is disclosed. In recent years, the communication speed in digital systems has increased drastically and thus has brought in a growing need to ensure a good/high performance from the FPGA services. The disclosure proposes a re-assembly middleware in the FPGA for processing TCP segments into application layer messages at a pre-defined frequency for a good/high performance. The pre-defined frequency is a high frequency performance feature of the re-assembly middleware, wherein the FPGA's implementation frequency is at atleast 300 MHz based on a memory optimization technique. The memory optimization technique includes several strategies such registering an output and slicing memories.

  • Publication number: 20230084736
Abstract: A cache subsystem is disclosed. The cache subsystem includes a cache configured to store information in cache lines arranged in a plurality of ways. A requestor circuit generates a request to access a particular cache line in the cache. A prediction circuit is configured to generate a prediction of which of the ways includes the particular cache line. A comparison circuit verifies the prediction by comparing a particular address tag associated with the particular cache line to a cache tag corresponding to a predicted one of the ways. Responsive to determining that the prediction was correct, a confirmation indication is stored indicating the correct prediction. For a subsequent request for the particular cache line, the cache is configured to forego a verification of the prediction that the particular cache line is included in the one of the ways based on the confirmation indication.

  • Publication number: 20230082697
Abstract: Nozzles for an air duct arrangement of an air conveying system may include a first outlet nozzle that is divided into a plurality of chambers are disclosed. The plurality of chambers formed by the outlet provide for a more uniform flow of air exiting the outlet, which generates a greater induced air flow in an associated section of duct. An orientation of a second outlet relative to an inlet of the nozzle provides for a reduced head loss within the nozzle, thereby providing for reduced backpressure within the nozzle and, consequently, a reduced power consumption associated with generating a desired airflow through the nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20230079026
Abstract: A database node selects one of a number of database mirror hosts to perform a database read query. In theory, mirror hosts store redundant database entries. In practice, some mirror hosts fail to receive or retain some entries, e.g. if a mirror host was down for maintenance, a mirror host was overburdened, etc. The health of a mirror host, quantified as a health score, represents a likelihood that an insert statement was received and retained. Health scores are generated based on health metrics—data periodically retrieved from mirror hosts used to infer how well the database was operating, e.g. a count of entries that were inserted, a count of errors encountered while the entries were inserted, etc. If the database read query specifies entries inserted during a specific time period, the mirror host may be selected based on the health scores representing that time period.

  • Patent number: 11598954
Abstract: Emissive micro-pixel spatial light modulators with non-telecentric emission are introduced. The individual light emission from each multi-color micro-scale emissive pixel is directionally modulated in a unique direction to enable application-specific non-telecentric emission pattern from the micro-pixel array of the emissive spatial light modulator. Design methods for directionally modulating the light emission of the individual micro-pixels using micro-pixel level optics are described. Monolithic wafer level optics methods for fabricating the micro-pixel level optics are also described. An emissive multi-color micro-pixel spatial light modulator with non-telecentric emission is used to exemplify the methods and possible applications of the present invention: ultra-compact image projector, minimal cross-talk 3D light field display, multi-view 2D display, and directionally modulated waveguide optics for see-through near-eye displays.
