    Abstract: A system meters execution of an application module at an edge computing device. A secure workload package is transmitted securely from a workload provisioning service to the edge computing device. The secure workload package includes the application module, a trusted metering application, and a provisioning service authentication token. The provisioning service authentication token is verified in the secure workload package based on an edge device authentication token generated at the edge computing device. The trusted metering application is executed in a trusted execution environment of the edge computing device, responsive to verifying the provisioning service authentication token. The application module of the edge computing device is executed, wherein the trusted metering application is configured to monitor execution metrics of the application module on the edge computing device. The execution of the application module is managed based on the monitored execution metrics.

The processor generates, based on the maximum value over the first time period, the duration of time, the maximum predicted value over the second time period, and the upper bound, a recommendation to consolidate the server with a second server and/or to release computational resources. The processor transmits the recommendation to an administrator.

    Abstract: An access point device operable in a wireless network detects multi-band capability of a wireless client based on a probe request received from the wireless client on the non-preferred communication band. The multi-band capability is detected based on a set of parameters included in the received probe request. When the wireless client is detected to have the multi-band capability, the access point device blocks the attempt of the first wireless client to associate on the non-preferred communication band. The access point device allows the wireless client to associate on one of the non-preferred communication band and a preferred communication band based on a count of probe requests received by the access point device from the wireless client on the non-preferred communication band. Upon association on the non-preferred communication band, the access point device steers the associated wireless client to the preferred communication band.

In response to determining the orientation, an operating mode from a set of operating modes is selected. The set of operating modes includes at least a ML inference mode and a ML training mode. Based on the selected operating mode, images obtained by an image capturing unit are processed. In the ML inference mode, a ML controller applies a ML model to the images to infer or predict characteristics of the image (e.g., detecting objects within the images). In the ML training mode, the ML controller is configured to cause a ML model to be trained using images captured by the image capturing unit, either local to the camera or on a remotely located computing device.

The remaining jobs are reordered in the job scheduler queue based on the calculated distances. After the reordering, the first job is scheduled in the job scheduler queue and, after the scheduling of the first job, removing the first job from the job scheduler queue.
