Abstract: The present invention provides a cover for the backside of a car floor and a method for manufacturing the cover, wherein the cover is manufactured by molding a single thermoplastic sheet 12, or a laminated sheet of the thermoplastic sheet 12 and a synthetic resin impregnated nonwoven porous material sheet 13, which is attached to the outside surface of the thermoplastic sheet 12 as a protective sheet 11, into a predetermined shape by vacuum forming, pressure forming, vacuum and pressure forming, press molding, or heating then cold press molding.

Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a moldable sheet which maintains good moldability even in a case where the moldable sheet is kept at a low temperature and a low humidity. The moldable sheet comprises a porous material which a synthetic resin is coated on or impregnated into, the porous material being further impregnated with a water retention agent. The water retention agent in the porous material retains moisture in the porous material, maintaining the good moldability of the moldable sheet, even at a low temperature and a low humidity.

Abstract: A sound absorbing fiber sheet, the ventilation resistance of which is in the range of between 0.08 and 3.00 kPa·s/m, is provided in the present invention, the sound absorbing fiber sheet being laminated onto a fiber base sheet to be a laminated fiber sheet having a good sound absorbing property even with the fiber base sheet having a small unit weight, and said laminated sheet may be molded into a desirable shape.

The belt fixing unit includes a moving fixing belt heated by a heater, a pressure member provided inside the fixing belt, a pressure roller provided opposite to the pressure member through the fixing belt to form a nip portion, a transfer material having a toner image thereon passing the nip portion and thereby the toner image being fixed on the transfer material, and a pressing force change unit capable of changing a pressing force of the pressure member against the pressure roller. The controller controls the pressing force change unit to change the pressing force according to print information for both faces of the transfer material.

Abstract: A skin beauty evaluation method for imaging an object such as human face to obtain digital image data, extracting data on a mirror reflection light component of each pixel from the digital image data and evaluating the skin sheen and skin beauty by using this. A simulation image obtaining method is also disclosed. By using these methods, it is possible to objectively evaluate the skin sheen and beauty which have been conventionally evaluated only subjectively. Thus, the methods are useful for development of a new skin cosmetic material. Moreover, by using a polarized light source, a digital camera to which polarization filter can be attached and a computer having a predetermined calculation or analysis equation, it is possible to easily evaluate the customer skin sheen and beauty and perform simulation of the face state of a test subject after improvement of the skin state or makeup.

The device also has a coil for inductively heating the object. The coil is supported by the holder. The coil is composed of a plurality of turns of conductor forming a layer, which is positioned along the object. Between conductor sections of the coil through which electric currents respectively flow in the same direction is formed a gap through which temperature of the object is detected. The device is capable of accurately detecting the temperature of heating region of the object, at low cost, and capable of increasing stability and safety in control of the temperature.

Abstract: A semitransparent cosmetic consisting of an O/W emulsion which comprises (a) a ceramide, (b) an oil component, (c) a nonionic surfactant, and (d) water and has a mean particle diameter of 100 to 300 nm; a semitransparent cosmetic as described above wherein the component (c) is polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil; and a semitransparent cosmetic as described above wherein the mass ratio of the total amount of the components (a) and (b) to the amount of the component (c) lies between 3:1 and 1.2:1. The ceramide-containing O/W emulsion cosmetics are excellent in long-term stability and have beautiful appearances and a sense of luxuriousness.

Abstract: An induction heating device for inductively heating an object to be heated which is formed of conductive material has a holder. The holder is positioned outside the object. The device has an exciting coil for inductively heating the object. The exciting coil is supported by the holder. The exciting coil is composed of a plurality of turns of conductor forming a layer, which is positioned along the object. The device also has a demagnetizing coil which is positioned along the layer of the exciting coil. In the demagnetizing coil, a back electromotive force is induced in accordance with a magnetic field produced by the exciting coil, so as to cancel the magnetic field. Stability in the temperature control for the object such as a heating roller can be improved by effective function of the demagnetizing coil. The device can be miniaturized and configured at low cost.

The extending and contracting portion of the bellows which is configured by forming ridge-like folds and valley-like folds in a vertically alternate and continuous manner is formed into a shape in which the lower one of upper and lower lamella portions of each of the ridge-like folds, or the lower lamella portion is inclined downwardly toward the axis defining the axial direction, not only in an extending state but also in a contracting state.
