  • Patent number: 11956154
Abstract: Datalink frames or networking packets contain protocol information in the header and optionally in the trailer of a frame or a packet. We are proposing a method in which part of or all of the protocol information corresponding to a frame or a packet is transmitted separately in another datalink frame. The “Separately Transmitted Protocol Information” is referred to as STPI. The STPI contains enough protocol information to identify the next hop node or port. STPI can be used avoid network congestion and improve link efficiency. Preferably, there will be one datalink frame or network packet corresponding to each STPI, containing the data and the rest of the protocol information and this frame/packet is referred to as DFoNP. The creation of STPI and DFoNP is done by the originator of the frame or packet such as an operating system.

  • Patent number: 11894039
Abstract: A flat field transistor (FFT) based dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) (FFT-DRAM) is disclosed. The FFT-DRAM comprises an epitaxially grown source region comprising a source extension and an epitaxial source over and in contact with the source extension. The epitaxially grown source region is over a surface of a semiconductor substrate. The FFT-DRAM further comprises a trench capacitor structurally integrated into the epitaxially grown source region. The trench capacitor has a first terminal formed by the epitaxially grown source region and a second terminal being a conductive material filling one or more trenches of the trench capacitor. The second terminal is connected to a ground terminal or a fixed voltage terminal.

  • Patent number: 11883341
Abstract: Methods using a motor, and a rolling tube or rod of sufficient strength to apply a pull force on one side of a sheet on the bed with the patient lying on the sheet to help pull up the patient on his bed or turn patients on his side with little manual effort. Patients having mobility issues under care in homes, nursing-homes or hospitals have to be regularly pulled up and turned on their sides to make them comfortable and to avoid formation of bed sores among other reasons. Currently this is done manually by nurses or caregivers. These simple but strenuous operation has been the cause of back problems for many caregivers. The current method is a way to reduce or eliminate this cause of injury to caregivers by providing a mechanized help for the operations.

  • Patent number: 11850005
Abstract: A method and process for providing three dimensional (3-D) virtual image of a patient in metaverse for surgical or other procedures, wherein the avatar of a medical practitioner, imitating the actions of the practitioner performing the procedure, can visually identify the organs and the location of the instruments in real-time inside patient. Such an image reconstruction with spatial coordination provides a usable metaverse implementation with the medical professional's persona as avatar, usable as a training and supportive tool in medical applications. It is a very valuable, especially for the medical and surgical community. The implemented Metaverse provides all details collected and combined from the multiple imaging systems. It is usable as a diagnostic tool, a practice tool a teaching tool and real time direction and feedback tool by the medical community for procedures. The real-time image implemented as Metaverse provides critical visual capabilities during procedures.

  • Publication number: 20230315674
Abstract: PCI Express (PCIE) is an IO interconnect standard that is implemented as a tree network with a root complex connecting to a CPU as the root node for use inside the computer for connecting to peripheral devices. Currently PCIE has achieved stability such that PCIE can be used as a basis for other applications. A PCIE based scheme inter-connecting multiple PCIE enabled computer systems each having at least one PCIE root complex controlling at least a PCIE bus, enabling the scalability of PCIE architecture to be applied for data transport between the connected system cluster is proposed. The interconnection uses an outbound port enabled for system interconnection on the PCIE bus of each PCIE enabled computer connecting to one inbound port on an independently programmable network switch having a plurality of inbound ports. The interconnection is using PCIE protocol for data transfer within the cluster.

  • Publication number: 20230263680
Abstract: The system uses a motor, and a rolling tube or rod of sufficient strength to apply a pull force on one side of a sheet on the bed with the patient lying on the sheet to help pull up the patient on his bed or turn patients on his side with little manual effort. The sheet used has an underside which is slidable to reduce the friction and having a plurality of loops on the sides to connect to the pull straps. The loops to which the pull straps are connected are chosen to apply equal force to pull or turn the patient on the sheet. Patients having mobility issues have to be routinely pulled up or turned on their sides to make them comfortable and avoid formation of bed sores. These operations have caused back problems for many caregivers. The system disclosed provides mechanized help for these operations.

  • Patent number: 11529277
Abstract: A pulling mechanism using a motor, and a rolling tube or rod of sufficient strength to pull a patient lying on a sheet on the bed is provided to move patients up the bed with little manual effort. In most hospitals and care facilities a common problem is that patients tend to slip down the beds causing discomfort for the patient. Patients have to be moved-up to comfortable position on the bed. Currently this is done manually by two nursing staff one on either side of the bed, with the patient on a slide sheet and pulling the patient manually up using the slide sheet. This simple but strenuous operation has been the cause of back problems for many nursing staff. The current invention is a way to reduce or eliminate this injury to nursing staff by mechanizing the pull-up operation.

  • Publication number: 20220374388
Abstract: PCI Express (PCIE) is a Bus or I/O interconnect standard for use inside the computer or embedded system enabling faster data transfers to and from peripheral devices. The standard has achieved a degree of stability such that other applications can be implemented using PCIE as basis. A PCIE based interconnect scheme for switching and inter-connection between multiple PCIE enabled systems, each having its own PCIE root complexes controlling a PCIE bus, enabling the scalability of PCIE architecture to be used for data transport between inter-connected PCIE buses of systems forming a cluster using PCIE protocol, through a switch enabled for PCIE interconnect, forming the hub of a star connected network is proposed. These systems forming the cluster can be any computing, control, storage or embedded system. The scalability of the interconnect will allow the cluster to grow the bandwidth between the systems as they become necessary without changing to a different connection architecture.

  • Patent number: 11394604
Abstract: The present technology addresses a need in the art for a closed-loop automation system of a managed network that detects and fixes an issue in the managed network with minimal to no human intervention. The closed-loop automation system employs a domain-independent semantic machine reasoning engine as an underlying engine. After detecting the issue in the managed network, the system searches through a knowledge base to find a match for the detected issue. The knowledge base includes previously collected knowledge from subject matter experts and maintenance teams. The system then proposes a remedial action to a user of the managed network for approval. After approval by the user, the system implements the remedial action.

  • Publication number: 20220100694
Abstract: PCI-Express (PCIE) is a Bus or I/O interconnect standard typically used for communication between a PCIE enabled computing system having a root complex and a plurality of peripheral devices, where the PCIE Bus may include a PCIE switch with a single inbound PCIE port. An outbound PCIE port on the root complex of the computing system connecting to the single inbound PCIE port of the PCIE switch. The invention describes a PCIE based interconnect scheme using a PCIE network switch to enable switching and inter-connection between multiple PCIE enabled computing systems to form a cluster for data transfer using PCIE protocol. For this, an outbound port enabled for interconnection, on each of the plurality of PCIE based computing systems in the cluster connect to one of a plurality of inbound PCIE ports on the PCIE network switch, enabling communication between the PCIE based computing systems of the cluster.
