Abstract: To provide a small-sized and thin analog electronic timepiece having a mechanism capable of firmly setting a train wheel for rotating a small second hand. An analog electronic timepiece includes a main plate, bridge members time information indicating wheels rotated with a main plate center as rotation center, a small second wheel rotated with a position other than a center of a movement as rotation center, a hand setting stem, a switching apparatus and a dial. The analog electronic timepiece includes a reset lever constituted to be able to rotate by operating the switching apparatus when the hand setting stem is pulled out to a first stage and a train wheel setting lever constituted to linearly move based on rotation of the reset lever. In a state of pulling out the hand setting stem to the first stage, a train wheel setting lever can set rotation of the small second wheel or other wheel provided to rotate the small second wheel.

  • Patent number: 6687191
Abstract: A calendar timepiece has a main plate having a guide portion and a date indicator driving wheel mounted on the main plate to undergo rotation. A date feed finger is connected to the date indicator driving wheel for rotation therewith to engage the guide portion of the main plate so that the date feed finger is displaced in a generally thickness direction of the main plate. A date indicator has a tooth portion for meshing engagement with the date feed finger when the date feed finger engages the guide portion of the main plate and is displaced in the thickness direction of the main plate so that the date indicator undergoes rotation relative to the main plate to indicate date information during rotation of the date feed finger. A day feed finger is connected to the date indicator driving wheel for rotation therewith. A day indicator is connected to the day feed finger for rotation therewith to indicate a day of the week.

  • Publication number: 20030147311
Abstract: To effectively prevent positional deviation of a battery. A hook-shaped member of a spring electrode terminal, and hook-shaped members of a spring electrode terminal are arranged in respective apices of a regular triangle to restrict movements of a battery in a direction along a cross section against the bias of a spring electrode terminal, which abuts against a negative surface of the battery. Battery abutments are arranged in respective apices of a substantially regular triangle to permit the bias of the respective spring electrode terminals to bias the battery toward the battery abutment, thus restricting positional deviation of the battery in a horizontal plane. When the battery is to be removed, a battery removal tool arranged near the hook-shaped member is inserted into a tool insertion portion to remove the battery.

  • Publication number: 20030137902
Abstract: To provide a hand motion irregularity suppressed timepiece whose assembling ability has been improved. As to a spring having a flat portion and a bent portion, the flat portion is disposed between a second chronograph wheel and a center wheel, and the bent portion is sandwiched and supported under a pressurized state by a train wheel bridge and a bottom plate. By this, the spring portion prevents a hand motion irregularity of the second chronograph wheel by the fact that the second chronograph wheel is pressure-contacted with the train wheel bridge. Further, by forming a gap between the second chronograph wheel and the center wheel, an accompanying rotation between the second chronograph wheel and the center wheel is prevented.

  • Patent number: 6518536
Abstract: A joining equipment in which a neural network is employed for controlling a joining process. A dynamic analog model is used for neuron elements configuring the network. The equipment includes a detector, a controller, and a neural network. The detector detects a joining state of a joining portion when work pieces are joined with each other. The controller controls the output of the joining equipment. In response to output signals from the detector, the neural network transmits signals to the controller. Such a structure allows the joining equipment to flexibly respond to complicated changes in joining states. Besides, using similarity with a thermal conduction equation enables to minimize the number of input items fed into the neural network. Furthermore, using an approximate solution to the thermal conduction equation realizes to accelerate the time for numerical calculation without loss of accuracy.
