The Nb-containing aqueous solution comprises water having dissolved therein a dicarboxylic acid, an Nb compound and optionally ammonia, wherein the dicarboxylic acid/Nb molar ratio (.alpha.) satisfies: 1.ltoreq.(.alpha.).ltoreq.4, and the ammonia/Nb molar ratio (.beta.) satisfies: 0.ltoreq.(.beta.).ltoreq.2.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a developer cartridge for exchanging developers in an apparatus which develops an electrostatic latent image, and an image forming apparatus using the developer cartridge. The developer cartridge has a first storage room for unused developer, a second storage room under the first room for storing used developer, openings in the first and second rooms and shutters provided therewith, together with a paddling mechanism in the first storage room for moving unused developer. The image forming apparatus has an endless latent carrier, a mechanism for forming an electrostatic latent image on the carrier and a mechanism for developing the latent image on the carrier. The developer cartridge is detachable positioned to the developing mechanism and a mechanism is provided for driving the shutters of the developer cartridge for exchanging used developer with unused developer.

    Abstract: A developing device using a two-component developer including a vessel for holding the two-component developer, a magnetic roller provided within the vessel and rotatably supported by side walls of the vessel to entrain and bring the developer to a developing zone for a development of an electrostatic latent image, and a doctor blade provided within the vessel to uniformly regulate an amount of the developer entrained by the roller. The ends of the doctor blade are movably inserted into openings formed in the side walls of the vessel, respectively, and the blade is provided with a spring associated therewith such that each of the ends of the blade is resiliently abutted against an end edge which partially defines the opening formed in the corresponding side wall of the vessel, whereby the blade is positioned with respect to the roller to a given clearance therebetween for a uniform regulation of the amount of the developer entrained by the roller.

The elastic shell serves as a shell and a spring body, and even if the pressure of the pneumatic pressure sealing member is increased, the pneumatic pressure sealing member is prevented from being deformed in excess of a normal level, and the pressure is transmitted to the movable member through the pneumatic pressure sealing member.

    Abstract: A train wheel of an electronic timepiece having more than two motors which drive hand wheels through individual train wheels includes a guide pipe driven and fixed in a bottom plate in the timepiece. The first hand wheel driven by the rotor of the first motor through the first train wheel has a central shaft as its rotational axis. The central shaft of the first hand wheel is inserted into the guide pipe so as to be guided and supported by the inner surface of the guide pipe. The second hand wheel has a central pipe as its rotational axis. The central pipe of the second hand wheel has the guide pipe inserted therein so as to be guided and supported by the outer surface of the guide pipe. Whereby the hand wheels do not come into contact with each other with result that the drive force of one of the hand wheels is not transmitted to the other hand wheel.
