    Abstract: A personalized QR or other machine-readable code is presented by a user at an establishment where a selection of items is presented to users. In a preferred embodiment the machine-readable code is printed on or attached to a wearable accessory such as a bracelet or necklace, but could also be carried on a card, for example. The personalized QR code is created based on a person's individual preferences or restrictions. In the food/restaurant example, it is personalized based on the person's allergens. The establishment is provided with a device configured to read the QR code presented by the user and process the individual preferences so as to only present to the user a list of a subset of the available items, all of which meet the user's preferences and/or restriction requirements.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for automatic user profile generation and authentication. One system includes a database storing user profile data for a plurality of users and an electronic processor communicatively coupled to the database. The electronic processor is configured to receive, from a computing device, a first usage indicator for a first user and a first user identifier for the first user, and to generate a probable user profile based on the first usage indicator and the first user identifier. The electronic processor is configured to retrieve, from the database, a plurality of previously-generated user profiles, and to determine, for each of the previously-generated user profiles, a confidence score based on the probable user profile. The electronic processor is configured to select an active user profile from the plurality of previously-generated user profiles when the confidence score exceeds a confidence threshold, and transmit, to the computing device, the active user profile.

Drug sensitivity can be predicted and therapeutic regimens can be planned on the basis of the presence or absence of this mutation. Polypeptides comprising, antibodies to, and polynucleotides encoding the mutant AR can be used to identity novel treatments. A double mutation in AR at positions 742 and 878 is also shown to be useful for patient stratification.

    Abstract: A synthesis process for making a benzoxazine compound containing at least one benzoxazine unit from aromatic amine containing at least one primary amino group, at least one phenolic compound with at least one ortho-hydrogen, and alkyl formcel. In one embodiment, the aromatic amine is reacted with alkyl formcel to generate an alkoxymethyl intermediate compound. Subsequently, the intermediate compound is reacted with a phenol to generate the benzoxazine compound. Also disclosed is a method for isolating the alkoxymethyl compound formed by reacting aromatic amine with alkyl formcel.
