  • Patent number: 11743714
Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing wireless devices. A service is provided by a first application operating on a publisher device to a second application operating on a subscriber device over a first data path between the two devices in a NAN network. The publisher device includes a first recovery manager to receive an indication from a wireless controller of the publisher device or a distress message from a second recovery manager of the subscriber device. The received indication or distress message indicates that the first data path has been interrupted. The first recovery manager stores, in a memory, data generated by the first application. A second data path is established between the publisher device and the subscriber device. The first recovery manager sends the stored data to the second application that operates on a subscriber device.

  • Publication number: 20230179310
Abstract: Aspects present herein relate to methods and devices for wireless communication including an apparatus, e.g., a UE. The apparatus may measure a frequency error from a first pair of pilot symbols and a second pair of pilot symbols received via a channel associated with communication between the UE and a base station, the measured frequency error from the first pair of pilot symbols and the second pair of pilot symbols corresponding to a first frequency error measurement and a second frequency error measurement. The apparatus may detect a first frequency wraparound in the first frequency error measurement and a second frequency wraparound in the second frequency error measurement. The apparatus may adjust the first frequency error measurement based on the first frequency wraparound or the second frequency error measurement based on the second frequency wraparound if the first frequency wraparound or the second frequency wraparound is the non-zero value.

  • Publication number: 20230117094
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for generating a replacement sentence with the same or similar meaning but a different sentiment than an input sentence. The method generally includes receiving a request for a replacement sentence and iteratively determining a next word of the replacement sentence word-by-word based on an input sentence. Iteratively determining the next word generally includes evaluating a set of words of the input sentence using a language model configured to output candidate sentences and evaluating the candidate sentences using a sentiment model configured to output sentiment scores for the candidates sentences. Iteratively determining the next word further includes calculating convex combinations for the candidate sentences and selecting an ending word of one of the candidate sentences as the next word of the replacement sentence. The method further includes transmitting the replacement sentence in response to the request for the replacement sentence.

  • Publication number: 20230024091
Abstract: To reduce power consumption, a user equipment (UE) may trigger a microsleep in a subframe when a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) does not include a downlink grant. However, because the microsleep depends on the PDCCH not including a downlink grant, the UE cannot trigger the microsleep until after the PDCCH is decoded. Accordingly, in some aspects, a UE may enable an aggressive extra microsleep in which a microsleep duration may be increased by reducing a PDCCH decode time. For example, a UE may use a stale channel estimate and noise estimate from a previous subframe to perform PDCCH demapping when conditions related to a PDCCH block error rate are satisfied. In this way, removing channel estimation and noise estimation from a PDCCH demapping path may reduce the PDCCH decode time, whereby the UE may trigger a microsleep sooner to increase a sleep ratio and thereby increase power savings.
