  • Publication number: 20230045505
Abstract: Technologies for accelerated orchestration and attestation include multiple edge devices. An edge appliance device performs an attestation process with each of its components to generate component certificates. The edge appliance device generates an appliance certificate that is indicative of the component certificates and a current utilization of the edge appliance device and provides the appliance certificate to a relying party. The relying party may be an edge orchestrator device. The edge orchestrator device receives a workload scheduling request with a service level agreement requirement. The edge orchestrator device verifies the appliance certificate and determines whether the service level agreement requirement is satisfied based on the appliance certificate. If satisfied, the workload is scheduled to the edge appliance device. Attestation and generation of the appliance certificate by the edge appliance device may be performed by an accelerator of the edge appliance device.

  • Publication number: 20230035693
Abstract: Circuit designs are emulated to verify the functionality of the circuit design. Emulating the circuit design includes obtaining a circuit design. The circuit design includes clock signals. Each of the clock signals is a data path clock signal. Further, a first clock signal of the clock signals is determined to be faster than a second clock signal of the clock signals. Rising edges and falling edges of the second clock signal are aligned with rising edges of the first clock signal to generate a realigned clock signal based on determining that the first clock signal is faster than the second clock signal. The circuit design is emulated using the realigned clock signal.

  • Publication number: 20230032678
Abstract: Log entries and baseline log entries have timestamps, and can be structured over columns of respective data types. Temporal inconsistency can be identified by comparing a probability distribution of time differences between the timestamps of the log entries with a probability distribution of time differences between the timestamps of the baseline log entries. Data type inconsistency can be identified by comparing a data type of each column of the log entries with a data type of a corresponding column of the baseline log entries. Columnar inconsistency can be identified by comparing a number of the columns of the log entries with a number of the columns of the baseline log entries. In response to identification of temporal, data type, and/or columnar inconsistency, that an abnormality exists in collecting the log entries is detected.

  • Publication number: 20230033066
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide techniques for multi-destination probabilistic data replication. Data transfer occurs over multiple time intervals. A data image to be transferred is divided into chunks. A manifest is created that lists each chunk and specifies an order, such that the data image can be reconstructed at its destination. The manifest is sent to the destination. The chunks may be sent to the destination, or to an aggregator site that then forwards the chunks to the destination. The chunks are reassembled at the destination based on information in the manifest. A probabilistic function is used to select an aggregator site based on an efficacy. The efficacy is based on a reward function that is computed for destinations for each time interval. A data transfer policy is periodically updated with a new efficacy value which is used for adjustment of the probabilistic function.

  • Patent number: 11568428
Abstract: A system and method of automatically detecting pricing loops by generating a price-history database and searching the database for recurring pricing update patterns. If a price update pattern is detected, then the price republishing is blocked until a next event occurs to interrupt the pricing loop. A pricing engine searches the price-history database before publishing a new price. If a past price recurs multiple times over a predetermined time period, then it is saved as a candidate value for a pricing loop. A current price to be published is compared to the candidate value, and if there is a match, then the current price is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 11570110
Abstract: Embodiments offer a cloud system allowing workload management through the use of a zone-compartment architecture. A routing engine extracts an identifier from an incoming request to a cloud system. The routing engine then determines from a mapping in a service mesh, a target compartment corresponding to the identifier. Based upon the target compartment, the routing engine receives an IP address from a registry of the service mesh. Using the IP address, the routing engine routes the request to the target compartment for processing by an application. A database of the target compartment is replicated within another compartment within a different zone, thereby ensuring high availability. Based upon a recommendation provided by the zone, the target compartment may be split or merged to accommodate variations in workflow. The mapping and registry are updated according to changes in the compartments.

  • Publication number: 20230024091
Abstract: To reduce power consumption, a user equipment (UE) may trigger a microsleep in a subframe when a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) does not include a downlink grant. However, because the microsleep depends on the PDCCH not including a downlink grant, the UE cannot trigger the microsleep until after the PDCCH is decoded. Accordingly, in some aspects, a UE may enable an aggressive extra microsleep in which a microsleep duration may be increased by reducing a PDCCH decode time. For example, a UE may use a stale channel estimate and noise estimate from a previous subframe to perform PDCCH demapping when conditions related to a PDCCH block error rate are satisfied. In this way, removing channel estimation and noise estimation from a PDCCH demapping path may reduce the PDCCH decode time, whereby the UE may trigger a microsleep sooner to increase a sleep ratio and thereby increase power savings.
