  • Patent number: 11558252
Abstract: The present technology provides a system, method and computer-readable medium for configuration pattern recognition and inference, directed to a device with an existing configuration, through an extensible policy framework. The policy framework uses a mixture of python template logic and CLI micro-templates as a mask to infer the intent behind an existing device configuration in a bottom-up learning inference process. Unique values for device/network identifiers and addresses as well as other resources are extracted and accounted for. The consistency of devices within the fabric is checked based on the specific policies built into the extensible framework definition. Any inconsistencies found are flagged for user correction or automatically remedied by a network controller. This dynamic configuration pattern recognition ability allows a fabric to grow without being destroyed and re-created, thus new devices with existing configurations may be added and automatically configured to grow a Brownfield fabric.

  • Patent number: 11556562
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide techniques for multi-destination probabilistic data replication. Data transfer occurs over multiple time intervals. A data image to be transferred is divided into chunks. A manifest is created that lists each chunk and specifies an order, such that the data image can be reconstructed at its destination. The manifest is sent to the destination. The chunks may be sent to the destination, or to an aggregator site that then forwards the chunks to the destination. The chunks are reassembled at the destination based on information in the manifest. A probabilistic function is used to select an aggregator site based on an efficacy. The efficacy is based on a reward function that is computed for destinations for each time interval. A data transfer policy is periodically updated with a new efficacy value which is used for adjustment of the probabilistic function.

  • Patent number: 11558547
Abstract: An image capture system provides automated prompts for aiding a user in capturing images for use in 3D model creation. While a user is preparing to capture an image, the system provides visual indications that indicate whether a quality-based condition is satisfied. Based on the visual indications, a user can determine whether an image, if captured, would likely be suitable for use in creating a 3D model. Determining if the quality-based condition is satisfied may include monitoring output generated by one or more sensors and comparing the output against a threshold value. Additionally, the system may analyze the visual content or metadata associated with an image to determine if the quality-based condition is satisfied and request user input to further identify certain image features that were identified by the system.

  • Patent number: 11556494
Abstract: A device architecture includes a spatially reconfigurable array of processors, such as configurable units of a CGRA, having spare homogenous subarrays, and a parameter store on the device which stores parameters that tag one or more elements as unusable. Configuration data is distributed using a statically reconfigurable bus system, to implement the pattern of placement of configuration data, in dependence on the tagged elements. As a result, a spatially reconfigurable array having unusable elements can be repaired.

  • Patent number: 11557536
Abstract: Integrated circuit (IC) interconnect lines having improved electromigration resistance. Multi-patterning may be employed to define a first mask pattern. The first mask pattern may be backfilled and further patterned based on a second mask layer through a process-based selective occlusion of openings defined in the second mask layer that are below a threshold minimum lateral width. Portions of material underlying openings defined in the second mask layer that exceed the threshold are removed. First trenches in an underlying dielectric material layer may be etched based on a union of the remainder of the first mask layer and the partially occluded second mask layer. The first trenches may then be backfilled with a first conductive material to form first line segments. Additional trenches in the underlayer may then be etched and backfilled with a second conductive material to form second line segments that are coupled together by the first line segments.

  • Patent number: 11550501
Abstract: A method for execution by a storage unit in a dispersed storage network (DSN) includes selecting a storage zone of a memory device of the storage unit based on zone allocation parameters, and designating the selected storage zone as open for writes. A data slice is received via a network for storage. The data slice is written sequentially at a memory location of the one of storage zone based on determining that the storage zone is designated as open for writes. A pointer corresponding to the data slice that indicates the storage zone and the memory location is generated. A read request is received via the network from a requesting entity that indicates the data slice. The data slice is retrieved from the memory device based on the pointer, and is transmitted to the requesting entity.

  • Patent number: 11553217
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for content fragmentation, distribution, protection, and re-constitution within a content distribution network. In one embodiment, the apparatus and methods enable distribution of content fragments to edge nodes (which may include user or subscriber CPE), thereby enabling edge networks or membership groups to be established wherein content can be shared solely at the edge. In one variant, high data bandwidth, symmetric uplink/downlink, low latency PHY links (e.g., 5G NR-compliant wireless interfaces) between the edge nodes participating in the edge networks or membership groups are used such that particular quality of service/experience performance requirements can be met. Distribution of the fragments also advantageously enhances redundancy and security.

  • Publication number: 20230006346
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to Millimeter Wave (MMW) frequency antenna scanning system. Conventional approaches available for scanning an antenna beam over a large angular swath with high directivity are unable to address concerns of size and cost involved. The technical problem of providing an MMW frequency antenna scanning system using a single small size antenna capable of scanning as desired at a desired precision is addressed in the present disclosure. The antenna scanning system provided is an electromechanical system that makes the system cost effective. Computer control provides precision control in beam steering from remote. Use of a metasurface and configuration of a radiating patch and a shorting pin in a microstrip antenna addresses the concern with regards to the size of the antenna scanning system.

  • Publication number: 20220414463
Abstract: The technology described herein generates automated workflows from trouble shooting guides. The automated workflow generation process described herein starts with existing TSGs as the input. A first step in the process may be identifying the computer commands in the TSG. In one aspect, the commands are identified using a sequence-to-sequence model. Once a command is identified as a command, the command is associated with an application of origin. In aspects, a second model is used to identify the application associated with the command. The second model may be a metric-based meta-learning approach to associate a command with an application. Once the commands are identified and associated with an application, they may be parsed or extracted using a regular expression, which is a special text string describing a search pattern. The structure of the natural text is then parsed to build an executable decision tree and merged with the parsed commands.
