  • Patent number: 11522521
Abstract: A glitch filter is provided. The glitch filter receives an input signal and sets a voltage level of an intermediary input node in accordance with a state of the input signal. The glitch filter charges or discharges a switched capacitance based on the voltage level of the intermediary input node and charges or discharges a filter capacitance based on a charge of the switched capacitance. The glitch filter sets a state of an output signal based on the charge of the filter capacitance. The glitch filter includes a reset stage that at least partially filters a burst of glitches in the input signal from the output signal by controlling the charge of the switched capacitance based on the state of the input signal and the state of the output signal.

  • Patent number: 11519084
Abstract: The present invention discloses a membrane-less reactor design for microbial electrosynthesis of alcohols from carbon dioxide (CO2). The membrane-less reactor design thus facilitates higher and efficient CO2 transformation to alcohols via single pot microbial electrosynthesis. The reactor design operates efficiently avoiding oxygen contact at working electrode without using membrane, in turn there is an increase in CO2 solubility and its bioavailability for subsequent CO2 conversion to alcohols at faster rate. The present invention further provides a process of operation of the reactor for biotransformation of the carbon dioxide.

  • Publication number: 20220382643
Abstract: Described in detail herein are systems and methods for single instancing blocks of data in a data storage system. For example, the data storage system may include multiple computing devices (e.g., client computing devices) that store primary data. The data storage system may also include a secondary storage computing device, a single instance database, and one or more storage devices that store copies of the primary data (e.g., secondary copies, tertiary copies, etc.). The secondary storage computing device receives blocks of data from the computing devices and accesses the single instance database to determine whether the blocks of data are unique (meaning that no instances of the blocks of data are stored on the storage devices). If a block of data is unique, the single instance database stores it on a storage device. If not, the secondary storage computing device can avoid storing the block of data on the storage devices.

  • Publication number: 20220379543
Abstract: A monolayer multi-axial integral geogrid suitable for stabilizing aggregate includes a plurality of interconnected oriented strands and partially oriented junctions forming a repeating pattern of outer hexagons having an array of openings therein. Oriented ribs extending inwardly from each of said outer hexagons support and surround a smaller inner hexagon having oriented strands thus forming a plurality of trapezoidal openings and a single hexagonal opening. The oriented strands and partially oriented junctions of the outer hexagons form a plurality of linear strong axis strands that extend continuously throughout the entirety of the geogrid and form additional triangular openings. The geogrid thus includes three different repeating geometric shapes. The inner hexagons preferably also can move up and down, out of the plane of the geogrid. The multi-axial integral geogrid thus provides a geometry that can better engage with, confine and stabilize a greater variety and quality of aggregates.

  • Patent number: 11516072
Abstract: At a recovery manager associated with a cluster, a determination is made as to whether a replacement for a first node of the cluster can be elected by the other nodes of the cluster using a first election protocol. The recovery manager selects a second node of the cluster as a replacement for the first node, based on data item replication progress made at the node, and transmits an indication that the second node has been selected to one or more nodes of the cluster.

  • Patent number: 11513696
Abstract: A scalable approach is disclosed for processing auxiliary-copy jobs in a storage management system by using distributed media agent resources instead of a centralized storage manager. Enhanced media agents coordinate and control auxiliary-copy jobs and tap the storage manager to reserve data streams and provide job-specific metadata on demand. An enhanced storage manager may initially select a media agent as “coordinator” to coordinate auxiliary-copy jobs with any number of other media agents, which act as “controllers.” A coordinator media agent is generally responsible for obtaining data stream reservation information from the storage manager and assigning auxiliary-copy jobs to respective controller media agents, based on the components involved in the respective reserved data streams.

  • Publication number: 20220377692
Abstract: Techniques that provide link establishment between a radio equipment controller (REC) and a radio equipment (RE) in a fronthaul network are described herein. In one embodiment, a method includes performing, Common Public Radio Interface (CPRI) Layer 1 (L1) link auto-negotiation operations to establish a CPRI link between the REC and RE. A proxy slave may achieve a hyper frame number (HFN) synchronization with the REC at a link bit rate for a first CPRI bit stream and communicate the first CPRI bit stream and the link bit rate to a proxy master. The proxy master may communicate a second CPRI bit stream to the proxy slave to transmit to the REC. The L1 link auto-negotiation operations are completed and CPRI link is established between the REC and the RE when the REC achieves a HFN synchronization for the second CPRI bit stream.

  • Patent number: 11504160
Abstract: An adjustable length strut includes two joints, a threaded rod extending between the joints, and a tube adapted to receive the threaded rod. An actuation mechanism with gear teeth extending radially outward of the strut axis is rotatably fixed to the threaded rod. A protrusion may be coupled to an end of the threaded rod by a rotatable collar, with the protrusion extending through a slot in the tube to mark the length of the strut. A modular attachment member may be adapted to be couple to the first joint and include a worm gear adapted to engage gear teeth of the actuation mechanism. The modular attachment member may include a radiofrequency identity tag mechanism adapted to be read by a tag reader of a tool, the tool adapted to couple to the attachment member to rotate the worm gear to increase or decrease the effective length of the strut.

  • Patent number: 11507470
Abstract: An illustrative approach to managing snapshots streamlines how and when snapshots are generated in a storage management system, such that fewer snapshots may be generated without diminishing the scope of data protection. A novel unified-snapshot storage policy may govern snapshots for any number of subclients. A unified-snapshot job based on the unified-snapshot storage policy enables the illustrative storage management system to automatically discover relevant components and generate at most one snapshot per target logical unit number (“LUN”) in a storage array. Each snapshot may comprise the data of any number of subclients and/or clients in the storage management system. Accordingly, one unified-snapshot job may yield a minimum but sufficient number of snapshots comprising data of all subclients associated with the governing unified-snapshot storage policy. An enhanced storage manager may manage the unified-snapshot jobs.

  • Publication number: 20220366139
Abstract: A system and method for creating a machine learning (ML) classifier for a database uses a weakly-supervised training data set created automatically from database items on the basis of a human-created keyword set. The automatically created training data set is used to construct one or more deep learning classifier checkpoints, which can then be compared with one another and with a classifier based on the original keyword set in order to select a classifier for use by other users viewing the database.

  • Publication number: 20220358529
Abstract: A system and method for online user feedback management are provided. The method includes receiving online user feedbacks for a product from a plurality of users. A plurality of topics for the product are identified from the online user feedbacks. For each topic, the received online user feedbacks are categorized into a plurality of groups based on a rating score provided in each online user feedback for the product and semantic analysis of each online user feedback for the product. A net promoter score (NPS) uplift for each topic is calculated, where the NPS uplift measures an improvement in a NPS for the product if issues related to the topic are resolved. A priority topic is identified based on the NPS uplift for each of the topics. The priority topic is then prioritized in resolving issues related to the topics included in the online user feedbacks.

  • Patent number: 11487442
Abstract: A data storage interface provides access to data storage clusters that may not otherwise be accessible to data accessors. The data storage interface can serve as a point of access for data accessors to access stored data via a consistent data access protocol, even when a data storage cluster on which requested data is stored may use a different protocol. The data storage interface can also provide access across network boundaries, such as those between different private cloud computing systems (e.g., virtual private clouds or “VPCs”).
