  • Publication number: 20250047646
Abstract: A disclosed method facilitates communications between an edge device and a cloud-based service component via an enterprise proxy without configuring the enterprise proxy to allow access to a service domain associated with the cloud-based service component. The method includes receiving, at a first proxy on the edge device, a service domain connection request from the service agent that specifies a service domain associated with the cloud-based service component. The first proxy responds to the first connection request by transmitting a sequence of nested connection requests including an inner connection request and an outer connection request. The inner connection request establishes a first communication channel between the first proxy and a cloud-based gateway. The outer connection request is transmitted along the first communication channel and establishes a second communication channel between the cloud-based gateway and the service domain requested by the service agent.

  • Patent number: 12212635
Abstract: A method of traffic forwarding and disambiguation through the use of local proxies and addresses. The technique leverages DNS to on-ramp traffic to a local proxy. The local proxy runs on the end user's device. According to a first embodiment, DNS is used to remap what would normally be a wide range of IP addresses to localhost based on 127.0.0.0/8 listening sockets, where the system can then listen for connections and data. In a second embodiment, a localhost proxy based on a TUN/TAP interface (or other packet interception method) with a user-defined CIDR range to which the local DNS server drives traffic is used. Requests on that local proxy are annotated (by adding data to the upstream connection).

  • Patent number: 12211514
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and method for facilitating error-free communication of data by enabling transfer of data over audio signal in near-ultra sonic frequencies with specially designed audio emitted using a mixture of frequencies to achieve maximum stability. The method may include randomized emission of data bits over a plurality of frequency ranges to allow temporal and frequency voting. The audio signal transmitted may be received by pre-processing the received audio signal to remove unused frequency bands and unwanted audio artifacts introduced during transmission. The pre-processed audio signal may be further applied with a plurality of audio processing levels to denoise, smoothen the audio signal by going through noise subtraction using unique noise profiles and spectrally gate using curated thresholds. The audio signal may be then demodulated using a unique confidence score based on the power of all the frequencies emitted to find the data transmitted.

  • Patent number: 12208564
Abstract: A monolayer multi-axial integral geogrid suitable for stabilizing aggregate includes a plurality of interconnected oriented strands and partially oriented junctions forming a repeating pattern of outer hexagons having an array of openings therein. Oriented ribs extending inwardly from each of said outer hexagons support and surround a smaller inner hexagon having oriented strands thus forming a plurality of trapezoidal openings and a single hexagonal opening. The oriented strands and partially oriented junctions of the outer hexagons form a plurality of linear strong axis strands that extend continuously throughout the entirety of the geogrid and form additional triangular openings. The geogrid thus includes three different repeating geometric shapes. The inner hexagons preferably also can move up and down, out of the plane of the geogrid. The multi-axial integral geogrid thus provides a geometry configured to engage with, confine and stabilize a large variety and quality of aggregates.

  • Publication number: 20250013542
Abstract: An illustrative cloud-based air-gapped data storage management (destination) system obtains authorized access to other (source) systems' backup copies, replicates those copies within the destination system, parses supplemental metadata included in the source backup copies, and integrates the replica copies into the destination system as though natively created there. Replica copies are integrated as backup copies without first restoring the source backup copies to a native data format. The source system lacks knowledge of or connectivity with the destination system, thus maintaining an “air gap” between the systems. The destination system preferably operates in a cloud computing environment. The destination system uses supplemental metadata from the replica copies to re-create or mimic the source's computing environment and to restore backed up data from the replica copies.
