Abstract: A system for generating a floating image for a passenger within a vehicle includes a passenger monitoring system adapted to monitor the position of the passenger's head and eyes, a compute engine in communication with the passenger monitoring system and adapted to calculate a holographic image and encode the holographic image onto a spatial light modulator (SLM) of a picture generating unit (PGU) hologram generator, a beam steering device, wherein the beam steering device is adapted to receive, via the compute engine, information related to a position of the passenger's head and eyes from the passenger monitoring system, and the SLM is adapted to project the holographic image to the beam steering device and the beam steering device is adapted to re-direct the projected holographic image to the eyes of the passenger, based on the information received from the passenger monitoring system.

Abstract: A settlement bot receives a hashlock value from a source entity delegate bot. The hashlock value is based on a secret value. The settlement bot also receives transaction information. The settlement bot generates a set of settlement instructions based on the transaction information. The set of settlement instructions includes one or more smart contracts governing one or more transactions on a distributed ledger. The settlement bot locks an asset in a first HTLC using the hashlock value. The first HTLC is associated with the set of settlement instructions. The settlement bot settles the set of settlement instructions upon receiving the secret value. Settling the set of settlement instructions includes unlocking the first HTLC and executing the set of settlement instructions, which includes transferring the asset to a destination account.

Abstract: A method includes allocating random write resources to a first portion of a zone having a range of LBAs and a cache storing data of the first portion of the zone. A write command is received including an LBA. The LBA is mapped to a PBA of the cache using a first L2P table. Each of one or more LBAs in the range of LBAs of the first portion of the zone is mapped to a corresponding PBA of the cache using entries of the first L2P table. A range of sequential LBAs of a second portion of the zone is mapped to a physical block of the zone. Each LBA of the range of sequential LBAs is accessed using an offset corresponding to a position of each LBA in the range of sequential LBAs of the second portion of the zone. The write command is executed at the PBA.

Abstract: There is provided a method and a controller for performing dynamic Host Memory Buffer (HMB) management in Peripheral Component Interconnect express (PCIe) based devices. The controller estimates a potential memory requirement for one or more memory intensive operations to be performed by the PCIe based device, transmits a first request to a host device associated with the PCIe based device, the first request indicating the potential memory requirement from Host Memory Buffer (HMB) of the host device, receives a plurality of memory allocation slots from the host device based on the first request, transmits a second request comprising HMB information related to current memory requirement based on the plurality of memory allocation slots to the host device and initializes memory of the HMB allocated to the controller based on the second request, for performing the at least one of the one or more memory intensive operations.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed relating to identity governance and privileged access control in a distributed networked computing environment for cloud based computing services. Embodiments disclosed include a logical model developed to describe the effective access of multiple cloud service providers (CSPs), each of which may be based on different access systems. The resulting system can then provide a singular experience across all CSPs used by users, giving users a clear picture of how access is achieved.

Abstract: Methods, computer readable media, and systems for providing a Cloud-Based system that takes maintenance and access of patient-centric healthcare records to the next level by providing a healthcare-provider-specific app store in a healthcare web portal. The cloud-based system serves as a patient web portal which hosts a computer App Store. The system determines a set of relevant computer applications from a plurality of available computer applications that are relevant to the particular patient and generates a customizable dashboard on a graphical user interface.

Abstract: A brake component for a motor vehicle may include a body having an axis, at least one cable comprising a plurality of wires where each of the plurality of wires has a surface in sliding contact with surfaces of adjacent wires of the plurality of wires, and a plurality of damping insert locators. The at least one cable may be embedded within the body concentric with the body about the axis. The plurality of damping insert locators may extend radially away from the axis such that a first instance of the damping insert locators constrains movement of the at least one cable in a first direction, and a second instance of the damping insert locators constrains movement of the at least one cable in a second direction, opposite the first direction.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes an architecture and design of Unauthorized-Blocking-Role (UAB). UAB is a mechanism which prevents higher privileged users of cloud-hosted software from performing unauthorized activities on protected objects, such as management objects. UAB works by periodically monitoring the permissions of customer users on key management objects in an object hierarchy in management software. If a customer user is detected to have privileges higher than the user should have on those objects, UAB applies restrictive role-based access controls (RBACs) on the user. Similarly, UAB also monitors protected principals and protected roles to ensure that their privileges are not modified by a customer user.

Abstract: A monolayer multi-axial integral geogrid suitable for stabilizing aggregate includes a plurality of interconnected oriented strands and partially oriented junctions forming a repeating pattern of outer hexagons having an array of openings therein. Oriented ribs extending inwardly from each of said outer hexagons support and surround a smaller inner hexagon having oriented strands thus forming a plurality of trapezoidal openings and a single hexagonal opening. The oriented strands and partially oriented junctions of the outer hexagons form a plurality of linear strong axis strands that extend continuously throughout the entirety of the geogrid and form additional triangular openings. The geogrid thus includes three different repeating geometric shapes. The inner hexagons preferably also can move up and down, out of the plane of the geogrid. The multi-axial integral geogrid thus provides a geometry that can better engage with, confine and stabilize a greater variety and quality of aggregates.

The memory includes instructions stored thereon, which when executed by the processor, cause the system to: access data relating to a gait of a user; provide the data as an input to an early escape network (EENet) having two or more early exits; dynamically determine by a deep Q-learning network (DQN) which of the two or more early exits of the EENet to take; dynamically determine by the EENet a predicted authentication at the determined exit; take the determined early exit by the EENet; and provide an authentication based on the predicted authentication at the determined early exit.

Abstract: Methods and systems for rendering lists of instructions and performing actions associated with those lists are described herein. In some embodiments, an individual may request that a voice activated electronic device associated with their user account assist in performing a task using a list of instructions. The list of instructions may include metadata that indicates actions capable of being performed by additional Internet of Things (“IoT”) devices. When the instructions are rendered, an instructions speechlet may recognize the metadata and may cause one or more of the IoT devices to perform a particular action. Furthermore, the metadata may also correspond to content capable of being rendered by the voice activated electronic device to assist the individual in performing a particular step of the instructions.

Abstract: A signal processing circuit includes an analog front-end circuit and a digital delay circuit. The analog circuit receives a clock signal and provides a compensated clock signal. The digital delay circuit is coupled to the analog front-end circuit and provides a compensated sample clock signal in response to delaying the compensated clock signal. The analog circuit measures a variation of a power supply voltage and adjusts a gain through the analog circuit according to a measured variation of the power supply voltage.

Abstract: A system monitors a network or web application provided by one or more distributed applications and provides data for each and every method instance in an efficient low-cost manner. Agents may monitor the performance of the distributed application by the web services and report monitoring data as runtime data to the remote server, for example a controller. The controller may analyze the data to identify one or more performance issues or “hot spot” methods based on current or past performance, functionality, content, or business relevancy. Instructions and/or configuration information may be transmitted by the controller to the agents that correspond to a particular business transaction portion associated with a hot spot. The portions are then monitored to collect data associated with the hot spot and the hot spot data is reported back to the controller.
