  • Patent number: 12153588
Abstract: A content retrieval system may receive a query associated with a plurality of content items in a repository. For each content item of the plurality of content items: a respective first and second similarity score may be generated based on a similarity between embeddings indicative of a first and second data type generated from the query and for the content item; and a respective normalized similarity score may be generated based on a combination of the respective first and second similarity scores. A set of content items with respective normalized similarity scores that satisfy a similarity score threshold may be identified. An exact-match (lexical) search may yield respective mapping scores for content items that may also be ranked. An output indicative of content items that are identified in the set of content items with high-ranking similarity scores and identified in the set of content items with high-ranking mapping scores.

  • Patent number: 12153690
Abstract: Examples described herein are generally directed towards file server access controls, and more specifically towards a mechanism to create consistent access control lists for local users across different file servers in a distributed file server environment. In operation, a local user system SID (e.g., external SID) may be generated for a first user of a first file server. A global ID based on attributes associated with the user of the first file server may also be generated. The global ID for the user may be stored in metadata associated with an access control list (ACL) for a file accessible through the first file server. Data, including the file may be migrated to a second file server. Based on receiving an access request at the second file server associated with the user based on the external ID, the external ID for the user may be translated into the global ID, and used to determine access to the file.

  • Patent number: 12156148
Abstract: Techniques that provide link establishment between a radio equipment controller (REC) and a radio equipment (RE) in a fronthaul network are described herein. In one embodiment, a method includes performing, Common Public Radio Interface (CPRI) Layer 1 (L1) link auto-negotiation operations to establish a CPRI link between the REC and RE. A proxy slave may achieve a hyper frame number (HFN) synchronization with the REC at a link bit rate for a first CPRI bit stream and communicate the first CPRI bit stream and the link bit rate to a proxy master. The proxy master may communicate a second CPRI bit stream to the proxy slave to transmit to the REC. The L1 link auto-negotiation operations are completed and CPRI link is established between the REC and the RE when the REC achieves a HFN synchronization for the second CPRI bit stream.

  • Publication number: 20240386658
Abstract: Techniques and solutions are provided for facilitating the definition and use of virtual environments. Typically, virtual environments require manual linking of virtual environment components, such as locations, avatars to be displayed, avatar interactions, and actions to be taken upon a selected interaction. This is in addition to actions to define, for example, a visual representation of a virtual location or an avatar. Disclosed techniques provide standardized data objects that can represent components of a virtual environment and relationships between such components. For example, aspects of a virtual environment can be predefined, and a user can configure the virtual environment with particular avatars and particular avatar content (such as media to be rendered for that avatar). In particular aspects, components of a virtual environment, such as avatars, can be determined at runtime, included based on attributes associated with a particular user for whom the virtual environment is to be rendered.

  • Publication number: 20240383210
Abstract: A method of operating a three-dimensional (3D) metal object manufacturing apparatus selects operational parameters for operation of the printer to form conductive metal traces on substrates with dimensions within appropriate tolerances and with sufficient conductive material to carry electrical currents without burning up or becoming too hot. The method identifies the material of the substrate and the bulk metal being melted for ejection and uses this identification data to select the operational parameters. Thus, the method can form conductive traces and circuits on a wide range of substrate materials including polymeric substrates, semiconductor materials, oxide layers on semiconductor materials, glass, and other crystalline materials.

  • Patent number: 12148158
Abstract: The present subject matter discloses a system and method for automatically detecting and quantifying a plaque/stenosis in a vascular ultrasound scan data in real time using Deep learning models. The system receives a video data and selects one or more frames/images for further processing to detect and quantify the plaque in the artery. Based on the selected one or more frames, the system detects a region of interest (ROI) and further processes the ROI. The system selects end points of a deposits of the plaque by taking a maximum length of the plaque in the artery/plaque boundary and determines the orientation of the vascular ultrasound scan. Based on the orientation and the selected end points, the system determines a vessel/artery boundary to identify a size of the plaque. Based on the determined vessel boundary and the orientation, the system determines plaque segments and measures parameters of the plaque.
