    Abstract: There is provided a method and a controller for performing dynamic Host Memory Buffer (HMB) management in Peripheral Component Interconnect express (PCIe) based devices. The controller estimates a potential memory requirement for one or more memory intensive operations to be performed by the PCIe based device, transmits a first request to a host device associated with the PCIe based device, the first request indicating the potential memory requirement from Host Memory Buffer (HMB) of the host device, receives a plurality of memory allocation slots from the host device based on the first request, transmits a second request comprising HMB information related to current memory requirement based on the plurality of memory allocation slots to the host device and initializes memory of the HMB allocated to the controller based on the second request, for performing the at least one of the one or more memory intensive operations.

    Abstract: The present disclosure describes an architecture and design of Unauthorized-Blocking-Role (UAB). UAB is a mechanism which prevents higher privileged users of cloud-hosted software from performing unauthorized activities on protected objects, such as management objects. UAB works by periodically monitoring the permissions of customer users on key management objects in an object hierarchy in management software. If a customer user is detected to have privileges higher than the user should have on those objects, UAB applies restrictive role-based access controls (RBACs) on the user. Similarly, UAB also monitors protected principals and protected roles to ensure that their privileges are not modified by a customer user.

When the instructions are rendered, an instructions speechlet may recognize the metadata and may cause one or more of the IoT devices to perform a particular action. Furthermore, the metadata may also correspond to content capable of being rendered by the voice activated electronic device to assist the individual in performing a particular step of the instructions.

The multi-axial integral geogrid thus provides a geometry that can better engage with, confine and stabilize a greater variety and quality of aggregates.

    Abstract: Techniques that provide link establishment between a radio equipment controller (REC) and a radio equipment (RE) in a fronthaul network are described herein. In one embodiment, a method includes performing, Common Public Radio Interface (CPRI) Layer 1 (L1) link auto-negotiation operations to establish a CPRI link between the REC and RE. A proxy slave may achieve a hyper frame number (HFN) synchronization with the REC at a link bit rate for a first CPRI bit stream and communicate the first CPRI bit stream and the link bit rate to a proxy master. The proxy master may communicate a second CPRI bit stream to the proxy slave to transmit to the REC. The L1 link auto-negotiation operations are completed and CPRI link is established between the REC and the RE when the REC achieves a HFN synchronization for the second CPRI bit stream.

In operation, a local user system SID (e.g., external SID) may be generated for a first user of a first file server. A global ID based on attributes associated with the user of the first file server may also be generated. The global ID for the user may be stored in metadata associated with an access control list (ACL) for a file accessible through the first file server. Data, including the file may be migrated to a second file server. Based on receiving an access request at the second file server associated with the user based on the external ID, the external ID for the user may be translated into the global ID, and used to determine access to the file.
