  • Patent number: 12141071
Abstract: Provided is a processor that includes a load and store unit (LSU) and a cache memory, and transfers data information from a store queue in the LSU to the cache memory. The cache memory requests an information packet from the LSU when the cache memory determines that an available entry exists in a store queue within the cache memory. The LSU acknowledges the request and transfers an information packet to the cache memory. The LSU anticipates that an additional available entry exists in the cache memory, transmits an additional acknowledgement to the cache memory, and transfers an additional information packet, before receiving an additional request from the cache memory.

  • Patent number: 12139870
Abstract: A multilayer integral geogrid, including one or more cellular layers, has a plurality of oriented multilayer strands interconnected by partially oriented multilayer junctions with an array of openings therein. The multilayer integral geogrid having one or more cellular layers is produced from a coextruded or laminated multilayer polymer starting sheet. The integral geogrid has a multilayer construction, with at least one outer layer thereof having the cellular structure. By virtue of the cellular layer structure, the multilayer integral geogrid provides for increased layer vertical compressibility under load, resulting in enhanced material properties that provide performance benefits to use of the multilayer integral geogrid to stabilize and strengthen soil, aggregates, or other particulate materials.

  • Publication number: 20240360487
Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of antibacterial biocellulosic patches/membranes for transdermal drug delivery. Novel high cellulose producing bacterial strain Komagatacibacter hansenii (MBS-8) has been isolated. The production and purification process of biocellulosic membranes is developed in such a way that the membranes produced are of desired thickness and length, suitable for drug impregnation in a cost-effective manner for the development of transdermal patches. Further, a process for efficient drug impregnation of Mupirocin in BC membranes has been developed. Weight and drug content of mupirocin impregnated BCM were found to be uniform.

  • Patent number: 12131271
Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program product are provided for a graphical user interface that presents a quantification of CO2 emissions in a manufacturing process. A selection of a material is received, and the selection is displayed in a graphic user interface. Amounts of material and energy consumed in a manufacturing process are calculated. A chemical composition of the material is decomposed into a set of constituent elements. A first quantity of CO2 emissions is estimated based on the amount of material consumed and a first CO2 emission factor based on a proportional composition of the set of constituent elements in the chemical composition. A second quantity of CO2 emissions is estimated based on the amount of energy consumed and a second CO2 emission factor based on an energy source used in the manufacturing process. Total CO2 emissions, based on both the first and second quantities, are then displayed in the graphic user interface.

  • Patent number: 12130749
Abstract: Systems and methods for invalidating page translation entries are described. A processing element may apply a delay to a drain cycle of a store reorder queue (SRQ) of a processing element. The processing element may drain the SRQ under the delayed drain cycle. The processing element may receive a translation lookaside buffer invalidation (TLBI) instruction from an interconnect connecting the plurality of processing elements. The TLBI instruction may be an instruction to invalidate a translation lookaside buffer (TLB) entry corresponding to at least one of a virtual memory page and a physical memory frame. The TLBI instruction may be broadcasted by another processing element. The application of the delay to the drain cycle of the SRQ may decrease a difference between the drain cycle of the SRQ and an invalidation cycle associated with the TLBI.

  • Patent number: 12131192
Abstract: This disclosure relates to scope-based lock management for shared resources of a distributed computing system. A scope-based lock manager may grant a request for a lock of a shared resource of the distributed computing system, where the lock request includes a scope of the lock and a target having the scope. The target may define entities able to access the shared resource when locked. The scope and target of the lock are stored at a lock database including scopes and targets associated with additional locks of additional shared resources of the distributed computing system. The scope based lock manager may determine when a computing node of the distributed computing system has failed and remove the lock from the lock database responsive to a determination that the target of the lock is hosted on the computing node.

  • Patent number: 12130708
Abstract: An illustrative cloud-based air-gapped data storage management (destination) system obtains authorized access to other (source) systems' backup copies, replicates those copies within the destination system, parses supplemental metadata included in the source backup copies, and integrates the replica copies into the destination system as though natively created there. Replica copies are integrated as backup copies without first restoring the source backup copies to a native data format. The source system lacks knowledge of or connectivity with the destination system, thus maintaining an “air gap” between the systems. The destination system preferably operates in a cloud computing environment. The destination system uses supplemental metadata from the replica copies to re-create or mimic the source's computing environment and to restore backed up data from the replica copies.

  • Patent number: 12131575
Abstract: A biometric identification system acquires a multimodal image. The system is trained to determine three embeddings: a first embedding associated with features present in a first modality, an intersection embedding associated with features present in both the first and a second modality, and an XOR embedding associated with features that are not shared between the first modality and the second modality. Once trained, the system may process a multimodal query image to determine query embedding data. Additional information, such as minutiae depicted in the multimodal query image may also be determined. The query embedding data, and in some implementations the additional information, may be compared with enrolled embedding data associated with a previously enrolled user. If the comparison exceeds a threshold value, an identity may be asserted.
