  • Publication number: 20180181938
Abstract: Embodiments rotate data by tokenization. Embodiments determine one or more check data fields of a check such as check number and routing number; generate a PIN based on the determined check data fields; receive user input of a user PIN; compare the generated PIN with the inputted user PIN; if the generated PIN matches the inputted user PIN, proceed with the transaction; and if the generated PIN does not match the inputted user PIN, cancel the transaction. In some cases, a point of sale terminal comprising a scanner for scanning the check to determine the one or more check data fields. In some cases, receiving user input of the user PIN comprises receiving, by a communication device of the system from a mobile device of the user, a text message, SMS message or phone call comprising the user input of a user PIN.

  • Publication number: 20180165921
Abstract: A computer terminal located in an environment may include an actuator, retractable privacy barrier attached to the computer terminal by the actuator, a display, a memory, a processor, and a terminal application stored in the memory. The actuator is typically configured to extend the retractable privacy barrier to thereby reduce viewability of the computer terminal. The terminal application is typically configured for initiating an interactive session with a user, determining that a trigger event has occurred, and in response to determining that the trigger event has occurred, transmitting a control signal to the actuator, the control signal causing the actuator to extend the retractable privacy barrier. The present invention is further configured for monitoring one or more parameters of the environment, and displaying, via the display, data associated with the one or more parameters of the environment.

  • Publication number: 20180152835
Abstract: A computer terminal typically includes a retractable conduit and an actuator connected to the retractable conduit. The retractable conduit typically includes a proximal end, a distal end, and a barrier between the proximal end and the distal end. The distal end is typically configured to engage a portal of a vehicle positioned proximate to the computer terminal. The actuator is typically configured to extend the distal end of the retractable conduit away from the computer terminal and toward the portal of the vehicle. The computer terminal is typically configured to determine that the vehicle is proximate to the computer terminal; determine a location of the portal of the vehicle; and transmit a control signal that causes the actuator to extend the distal end of the retractable conduit away from the computer terminal so that the distal end engages the portal of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9979718
Abstract: A means for managing security and access to resources associated with blocks/sub-components of a distributed validating network, such as a blockchain network. Tags are created that can be applied to blocks so that a designated entity/user can locate the block though presentation of keywords associated with the tag. Additionally, a security token is generated that is assigned or otherwise provided to the designated entity/user which is configured to grant the designated entity access to resources in the block. Further, logic may be defined and applied to either the tag, the block and/or the security token that provides control over the access granted to the designated entities/users. The logic may define the period of time for which a designated entity/user is granted access to the block and/or the block's resources or the logic may define an amount of access granted to the designated entity/user.

  • Publication number: 20180089455
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a control device for aggregation of machine-initiated resource distribution. The invention is a control device that links user associated smart devices. The control device generates code to extract data from the smart devices and control the communications disseminated from and received by the smart device from third parties. In this way, the control device prevents smart devices from communicating with third party systems and from third party systems from communicating directly with the smart devices. Thus, fixing the technical challenges within a current network including the need to consolidate and aggregate data across smart devices associated with the user, the need to control and manage the flow of data packets from smart devices to third parties (privacy, filtering, protection), and the need to easily track and refresh an inventory of smart devices.

  • Publication number: 20170366422
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for aggregation of machine-initiated resource distribution. The invention generates a smart device portal for linkage of user associated smart devices. • Publication number: 20170364842
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for appropriate resource allocation via generated communication channel within and for the utilization of a shared use service. The system may be associated with or affixed to a shared use service object, generating a communication field within or directly around the shared use service object. The system may recognize when an individual is utilizing the shared use service via signal recognition of a mobile device transmission being received by the system associated with the shared use service. The system may identify an end destination of the user using the shared use service and calculate a resource requirement based on the same. The resource requirement may be presented to the user via the mobile device through the generated communication linkage.
