Abstract: Described is a process for augmenting or enhancing the aroma of a drier-added fabric softener article or solid or liquid anionic, cationic, nonionic or zwitterionic detergent comprising the step of adding to the fabric softener article or detergent a composition of matter comprising a compound having the structure: ##STR1## wherein R is methyl or ethyl and intimately admixed therewith a compound selected from the group consisting of:(a) a compound having the structure: ##STR2## (b) 3-methyl-1-phenyl-pentanol-5; and (c) at least one butanoyl cyclohexane derivative defined according to the structure: ##STR3## wherein one or two of the dashed lines represent carbon-carbon double bond and the other of the dashed lines represent carbon-carbon single bonds with the proviso that when the dashed lines represent two carbon-carbon double bonds, said carbon-carbon double bonds are conjugated.
