  • Patent number: 10659460
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for a multi-factor authentication of a user via a vehicle recognition of the user. In this way, the invention may identify a user co-located to a vehicle and authenticate that user via communicable linkages between a user device and automobile system. The invention may authenticate the user via the communicable linkage, vehicle biometrics, user vehicle preferences, and/or third party authentication. Based on a number of authentication points identified, the system may identify a level of authentication for accessing authentication locations. The system may then allow user access to various locations from his/her vehicle without requiring authentication into those locations.

  • Publication number: 20200147945
Abstract: In a first aspect, a multilayer polymer film includes a first transparent, colorless polymer layer comprising a polyimide, a polyamide imide, or a block copolymer of a polyimide and a second transparent, colorless polymer layer comprising a polyimide, a polyamide imide, or a block copolymer of a polyimide. An elastic modulus of the first transparent, colorless polymer layer is different than an elastic modulus of the second transparent, colorless polymer layer. The first and second transparent, colorless polymer layers are bonded by consolidation. In a second aspect, a cover window for a display includes the multilayer polymer film of the first aspect. The first transparent, colorless layer of the multilayer polymer film is the layer farthest from the display.

  • Publication number: 20200137019
Abstract: Methods and systems for user communication in an online community and/or website are provided. User profile data may be accessed to from a memory. An analysis system compares the user profile data for the user with a time-dependent goal to determine a result. The time-dependent goal may be determined based on an analysis of a set of (successful) users. A user interface system generates a representation of the result for prompting the user to initiate a communication to a different user based on the time-dependent goal. The representation may comprise a metered representation indicating an amount of progress, by the user, toward the time-dependent goal.

  • Patent number: 10580296
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, systems, and non-transitory computer readable storage media for generating risk indicators are described. The disclosed technology includes determining a vehicle route of a vehicle and external object routes of external objects. The vehicle route is determined using vehicle route data including a vehicle location and a vehicle destination. The external object routes are determined using external object route data including external object locations and external object destinations. Based on a comparison of the vehicle route data and the external object route data, external object routes that satisfy a proximity criterion are determined. Risk data for the vehicle is generated based on a vehicle state of the vehicle and external object states of the external objects corresponding to the external object routes that satisfy the proximity criterion. In response to determining that the risk data satisfies a risk criterion, at least one risk indicator is generated.

  • Publication number: 20200064831
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, systems, and non-transitory computer readable storage media for generating solution data for autonomous vehicles to negotiate problem situations have been disclosed. The disclosed technology generates state data associated with a vehicle using sensor data received from the vehicle and from external objects within a vicinity of the vehicle. The state data includes any of a location of the vehicle, a destination of the vehicle, an operational status of the vehicle, and information associated with a vehicle environment. In response to determining that the state data satisfies a state criterion, a determination of solution profile data that matches the state data is made on the basis of a comparison of the state data to the solution profile data. Solution data is generated using the matching solution profile data to transmit the solution data to the vehicle for execution.
