  • Publication number: 20210150060
Abstract: In one example embodiment, a server that is in communication with a network that includes a plurality of network elements obtains, from the network, a service request record that includes sensitive information related to at least one of the plurality of network elements. The server parses the service request record to determine that the service request record includes a sequence of characters that is repeated in the service request record, and tags the sequence of characters as a particular sensitive information type. Based on the tagging, the server identically replaces the sequence of characters so as to preserve an internal consistency of the service request record. After identically replacing the sequence of characters, the server publishes the service request record for analysis without revealing the sequence of characters.

  • Publication number: 20210148493
Abstract: A flush joint high torque thread that achieves superior tensile efficiency and compression efficiency. In one example, the thread of a pin member and a box member includes a thread a chamfer with angled shoulders on each side of the thread to achieve increased torque. The stab flanks each contain a lead-in chamfer extending no further than a thread pitch line. The load flanks are each tapered. The stab flanks engage each other during assembly, but not upon assembly. The load flanks do not engage each other during assembly, and do engage each other upon assembly. The pipe achieves both a 70% tensile efficiency and a 90% compression efficiency.

  • Patent number: 11008809
Abstract: A drilling assembly includes a power section with a housing that rotates in a first direction at a drill string rotation rate. An output rotates a drill bit through a transmission shaft in the first direction at a rotor rotation rate relative to the housing. A bent housing between the power section and the drill bit rotates in a second direction at a variable rotation rate relative to the power housing. The transmission shaft extends through the bent housing. A mechanical brake system adjusts the bent housing's variable rotation rate. The bent housing rotates relative to the wellbore in a rotary mode, but not in a sliding mode. The sliding mode maintains the drill bit's direction and inclination while the drill string rotates. In all modes, the drill bit's rotation rate is the sum of the drill string rate and the rotor rate relative to the power housing.

  • Publication number: 20210120000
Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein enable controlling access to networks. In various implementations, a method of controlling access to a network is performed by a computing device including one or more processors, and a non-transitory memory. In various implementations, the method includes obtaining an indication that a mobile device having access to a first network utilizing a first radio access technology (RAT) has requested access to a second network utilizing a second RAT. In some implementations, the method includes determining whether the access to the first network satisfies an authentication criterion associated with the second network. In some implementations, the method includes granting the mobile device access to the second network in response to determining that the access to the first network satisfies the authentication criterion associated with the second network.

  • Patent number: 10985799
Abstract: A frequency manager in a multi-band wireless microphone system provides the synchronization of fixed RF devices (for example, transceivers) operating in distant parts (for example, two or more frequency bands) of the frequency spectrum. Each transceiver may be paired with a wireless microphone and provides synchronization with the paired wireless microphone. Antenna signals are separated or combined into a plurality of frequency bands using a multi-band filter. Band-specific low noise amplifiers and power amplifiers may be utilized for each frequency band so amplifier performance can be optimized. Prior to distribution by a splitter, the plurality of frequency bands is combined or separated using a second multi-band filter. Transceivers that are connected to the frequency manager may then independently operate in one band, different frequency bands or a combination of bands.

  • Publication number: 20210095697
Abstract: The present disclosure is of a jet pump system, and reverse power generation system and other desirable applications consisting of an impeller with inlet vortex vanes and outlet vortex vanes. The inlet vortex vane induces rotational movement on mass entering the impeller inlet. The outlet vortex vanes remove swirl from mass exiting the impeller outlet. Embodiments include a jet pump system involving a pulley and belt which can allow for obstruction free movement of mass. In another embodiment the impeller is connected via an electromagnetic connection. In another embodiment the impeller acts as a rim-driven generator of electrical power. • Patent number: 10961835
Abstract: A method for hydraulically fracturing a subterranean formation includes preparing and sending a first command signal from a master controller to a plurality of pumps of a pump system. The first command signal specifies a flow rate output for each in pump to achieve a first target flow rate for a fracturing fluid being injected into the subterranean formation. A pressure of the fracturing fluid injected into the subterranean formation at the first target flow rate is monitored and, based on the pressure, the master controller determines when to increase a flow rate of the fracturing fluid to a second target flow rate. The master controller prepares and sends a second command signal to the plurality of pumps to specify the flow rate output for each pump to achieve the second target flow rate.

  • Patent number: 10965516
Abstract: In one embodiment, a service that monitors a network detects a plurality of anomalies in the network. The service uses data regarding the detected anomalies as input to one or more machine learning models. The service maps, using a conceptual space, outputs of the one or more machine learning models to symbols. The service applies a symbolic reasoning engine to the symbols, to rank the anomalies. The service sends an alert for a particular one of the detected anomalies to a user interface, based on its corresponding rank.

  • Patent number: 10957423
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods are disclosed for comparing a first biosequence string with a second biosequence string to assess similarity between those biosequence strings. For example, a field programmable gate array (FPGA) can be used to (1) detect substrings of the second biosequence string that are matches to substrings of the first biosequence string, and (2) map the detected substrings of the second biosequence string to corresponding positions in the first biosequence string where the detected substrings are located based on a data structure that links substrings of the first biosequence string to positions in the first biosequence string where the substrings of the first biosequence string are located. These operations can be used to seed an alignment between the first and second biosequence strings that permits comparisons to be performed over longer substrings of the first and second biosequence strings so that similarities between those longer substrings can be quantified.

  • Patent number: 10956152
Abstract: A configuration package receives user-generated input that configures a decision service to generate decision data. The configuration package includes artifacts and the user-generated input selects the artifacts from an artifact library in a configuration database. A configured decision service is generated, where the generating includes receiving, by a decision service factory, the configuration package. Also, the decision service factory receives a decision template including configurable decision elements and non-configurable decision elements. Further, the decision service factory receives a user configuration specifying a parameter in the corresponding artifact. The artifact from the configuration package, the user configuration and the decision template are combined to generate the configured decision service. The configured decision service receives, from a client computer, input for each of the configurable decision elements.
