  • Patent number: 10965516
Abstract: In one embodiment, a service that monitors a network detects a plurality of anomalies in the network. The service uses data regarding the detected anomalies as input to one or more machine learning models. The service maps, using a conceptual space, outputs of the one or more machine learning models to symbols. The service applies a symbolic reasoning engine to the symbols, to rank the anomalies. The service sends an alert for a particular one of the detected anomalies to a user interface, based on its corresponding rank.

  • Patent number: 10963590
Abstract: In one example embodiment, a server that is in communication with a network that includes a plurality of network elements obtains, from the network, a service request record that includes sensitive information related to at least one of the plurality of network elements. The server parses the service request record to determine that the service request record includes a sequence of characters that is repeated in the service request record, and tags the sequence of characters as a particular sensitive information type. Based on the tagging, the server identically replaces the sequence of characters so as to preserve an internal consistency of the service request record. After identically replacing the sequence of characters, the server publishes the service request record for analysis without revealing the sequence of characters.

  • Patent number: 10957423
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods are disclosed for comparing a first biosequence string with a second biosequence string to assess similarity between those biosequence strings. For example, a field programmable gate array (FPGA) can be used to (1) detect substrings of the second biosequence string that are matches to substrings of the first biosequence string, and (2) map the detected substrings of the second biosequence string to corresponding positions in the first biosequence string where the detected substrings are located based on a data structure that links substrings of the first biosequence string to positions in the first biosequence string where the substrings of the first biosequence string are located. These operations can be used to seed an alignment between the first and second biosequence strings that permits comparisons to be performed over longer substrings of the first and second biosequence strings so that similarities between those longer substrings can be quantified.

  • Patent number: 10956152
Abstract: A configuration package receives user-generated input that configures a decision service to generate decision data. The configuration package includes artifacts and the user-generated input selects the artifacts from an artifact library in a configuration database. A configured decision service is generated, where the generating includes receiving, by a decision service factory, the configuration package. Also, the decision service factory receives a decision template including configurable decision elements and non-configurable decision elements. Further, the decision service factory receives a user configuration specifying a parameter in the corresponding artifact. The artifact from the configuration package, the user configuration and the decision template are combined to generate the configured decision service. The configured decision service receives, from a client computer, input for each of the configurable decision elements.
