  • Patent number: 12176966
Abstract: A wireless microphone system comprises system equipment (for example, rack-mounted equipment including receivers/transceivers, distribution amplifier), one or more transmission line accessories, and a transmission line network connecting the accessories with the system equipment. The transmission line accessory compensates for downlink RF losses on transmission lines between accessories and between an accessory and system equipment. Compensation parameters for the transmission line accessory is determined by the system equipment by generating an uplink RF test signal by an RF source at the system equipment. The RF source may be varied over a plurality of frequencies to determine the compensation parameters over the plurality of frequencies. The system equipment subsequently instructs the transmission line accessory to configure an adjustable RF gain circuit (and also possibly a compensation filter) accordingly.

  • Publication number: 20240417287
Abstract: A method of treating a quantity of water that includes a first level of a contaminant and is discharged from a process includes mixing the water with an effluent having a second level of the contaminant to produce a condensate having a third level of contaminant, the second level being greater than the first level. The method further includes passing the condensate through a reverse osmosis system to produce a permeate having a fourth level of the contaminant and a concentrate having a fifth level of the contaminant that is greater than the fourth level. The method also includes oxidizing the concentrate in an electro-oxidation system to generate the effluent and directing the effluent to a point upstream of the reverse osmosis system to perform the mixing step.

  • Publication number: 20240410252
Abstract: A friction reduction tool configured for selective activation downhole in response to a variation in a media flow's operating condition. A valve assembly and an activation assembly are both positioned downstream of a power assembly, which is configured to rotate a rotating valve segment of the valve assembly with media flow through the tool. The activation assembly is configured to transition from a first position to a second position with the media flow operating condition variation. In the first position, the activation assembly provides a bypass flow path around the valve assembly for at least a portion of the media flow, thereby preventing the valve assembly from generating any significant pressure pulse with rotation of the rotating valve segment. In the second position, the bypass flow path is closed such that all or a majority of the media flows through the valve assembly, thereby generating a significant pressure pulse.

  • Publication number: 20240385774
Abstract: In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a method including receiving, from a host device, a first request to write first data to a memory device; adding the first request to a queue on the memory device; determining an availability of a write buffer of the memory device; retrieving the first data from the host device based on the determining and the first request added to the queue; and writing the first data to a write buffer of the memory device. The method may further include returning a completion message to the host device based on writing the first data to the write buffer; and writing the first data from the write buffer of the memory device to storage media. The first request may be an SQE, and the method may further include parsing the SQE and determining that the SQE is a write command.
