    Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for adjusting a transmission field-of-view (Tx FoV). For example, the system includes a lidar sensor with a series of emitters. Each emitter is configured to transmit light pulses away from a vehicle along a transmission axis to form a transmission field-of-view (Tx FoV). At least one detector is configured to receive at least a portion of the light pulses that reflect off of an object within a reception field-of-view (Rx FoV) along a reception axis. A transmit optic is mounted for translation along a transverse axis and configured to intersect each transmission axis without intersecting the reception axis to adjust the Tx FoV without adjusting the Rx FoV.

The separation device flushes at least a portion of the filtered solids through a flush flow path, through a flush outlet on an outer surface of the separation device, and into an annulus between the outer surface of the separation device and the wellbore. Optionally, the drilling system includes a second driving mechanism and a second separation device disposed above the second driving mechanism.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the invention involve using biometric templates to wirelessly authenticate individuals. In one embodiment, a mobile device may generate a first biometric template and a first public value from a first biometric sample of a user and generate a first cryptographic key by passing the first biometric template to a fuzzy extractor's generate function. An access device may generate a second biometric template from a second biometric sample of the user, generate a second secret cryptographic key by passing the second biometric template and the first public value to the fuzzy extractor's reproduce function, encrypt the second biometric template with the second secret cryptographic key, and broadcast the encrypted template to a plurality of nearby mobile devices including the mobile device. If the mobile device is able to decrypt the encrypted template with the first cryptographic key, the access device can associate the user with the mobile device.

    Abstract: Methods and computing apparatus for implementing a radiation dosimetry process. An example process may include exposing a first radiation sensitive film to a series of known doses of radiation, measuring a first set of radiation data with a measurement device, and determining a calibration curve. The calibration curve may be determined by selecting Raman spectral ranges based on the first set of radiation data, determining a plurality of band area ratios, and generating the calibration curve based on plotting the band areas and ratios compared to known dose. The radiation dosimetry process then exposes a second radiation sensitive film to an unknown dose of radiation, measures a second set of radiation data for the second radiation sensitive film with the measurement device, and determines a dose exposure level for the second radiation sensitive film by comparing the second set of radiation data with the calibration curve.

With some embodiments, the wireless microphone system comprises a first apparatus (for example, a wireless transmitter) and an attached second apparatus (for example, an attached microphone), where the chassis of the first apparatus and the housing of the second apparatus support the antenna structure through an electrical connector (for example, through an outer shell of a Cannon (XLR) connector) between the two apparatuses. The chassis and the housing may support first and second halves of a dipole antenna, respectively. The first apparatus supports first and second electrical circuits that are operational within a first and second frequency band, respectively, and that connect to first and second input ports of a combining circuit (for example, a diplexer filter). The output port of the combining circuit connects to the housing through the electrical connector.
