  • Patent number: 12116452
Abstract: A blend composition comprising a first polyester and a second polyester. The first and second polyesters each comprises residues of terephthalic acid, neopentyl glycol (NPG), 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM), ethylene glycol (EG), and/or diethylene glycol (DEG). The first polyester comprises NPG, CHDM, and DEG in a combined amount that is less than the second polyester. The blend composition can be useful for producing a shrink film exhibiting high ultimate shrinkage (e.g., >65% at 95° C. for 10 seconds) and a high strain induced crystalline melting point (e.g., greater than 190° C.).

  • Publication number: 20240336343
Abstract: A propulsion system includes an electric motor assembly having an electric motor, a driveshaft, and a disconnect clutch. The disconnect clutch is structured to couple the driveshaft to an engine output shaft. The propulsion system further includes a fluid system having a cooling and lubrication fluid circuit fluidly connected to a first pump, and a clutch actuation fluid circuit fluidly connected to a second pump. The cooling and lubrication fluid circuit is fluidly connected to the clutch actuation fluid circuit via at least one of respective pump outgoing conduits from the first pump and the second pump or respective pump supply conduits to the first pump and the second pump. Related operating methodology is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240318534
Abstract: A downhole separation system for use upstream of any tool through which a media flows. The separation system filters at least a portion of any solids from the media flowing through a filter flow path. The separation system flushes at least a portion of the filtered solids through a flush flow path, through a flush outlet on an outer surface of a housing, and into a space surrounding the housing. A screen and an activation mechanism are disposed within a housing inner bore. The filter flow path extends through a plurality of openings in the screen. The activation mechanism is configured to move between a default position in which it directs fluid through the filter flow path and an activated position in which it directs fluid through the flush flow path. Optionally, a spring within the housing inner bore is configured to bias the activation mechanism toward the default position.

  • Publication number: 20240319363
Abstract: The present invention includes systems and methods for a continuous-wave (CW) radar system for detecting, geolocating, identifying, discriminating between, and mapping ferrous and non-ferrous metals in brackish and saltwater environments. The CW radar system generates multiple extremely low frequency (ELF) electromagnetic waves simultaneously and uses said waves to detect, locate, and classify objects of interest. These objects include all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as changing material boundary layers (e.g., soil to water, sand to mud, rock to organic materials, water to air, etc.). The CW radar system is operable to detect objects of interest in near real time.

  • Publication number: 20240319893
Abstract: A computer program product, system, and method are provided for out-of-space condition risk mitigation. In one embodiment, a donor pool contained within a storage pool, provides additional storage capacity which may be transferred to another storage pool which may be approaching an out-of-space condition. Donated storage capacity may be virtual and may be transferred on a temporary or emergency basis to prevent an imminent out-of-space condition. Donated storage capacity may be returned to the donor pool once the donated storage capacity is no longer needed by the recipient storage pool.

  • Publication number: 20240311512
Abstract: In one example embodiment, a server that is in communication with a network that includes a plurality of network elements obtains, from the network, a service request record that includes sensitive information related to at least one of the plurality of network elements. The server parses the service request record to determine that the service request record includes a sequence of characters that is repeated in the service request record, and tags the sequence of characters as a particular sensitive information type. Based on the tagging, the server identically replaces the sequence of characters so as to preserve an internal consistency of the service request record. After identically replacing the sequence of characters, the server publishes the service request record for analysis without revealing the sequence of characters.
