  • Patent number: 11602287
Abstract: Aspects include identifying each of a plurality of audio sources proximate to a user wearing a headset. The audio sources include a primary audio source and a plurality of background audio sources. Aspects include causing the headset to play a set of audio sources to the user by causing each audio source of the set to be unfiltered by the headset. Aspects include determining an acceptance level of the user. Aspects also include determining a background noise filtering adjustment based on the acceptance level and the set of audio sources being played by the headset to the user. Aspects also include causing the headset to adjust a filtering of one or more of the plurality of background audio sources by the headset based on the background noise filtering adjustment.

  • Patent number: 11578466
Abstract: A traffic barrier and soundwall system is disclosed having wide-flanged [or H-posts] vertical posts oriented with a flange facing a roadway. Traffic barriers are located between them. The barriers have recesses at the intersection of their backs and ends. An angle bracket is positioned in the recess to separate the post from the barrier. A U-shaped strap has a base and a pair of arms extending from the base. Traffic barriers are positioned against the posts so that the angle brackets in the recesses are adjacent to the road-facing flange of the post. A strap fastener connects an arm of the strap to the recess of each of the adjacent traffic barriers. In this way, the base of the strap surrounds the rearward-facing flange of the post to secure the traffic barriers to the post. Sound barrier panels are located on the top of the traffic barriers, secured between the webs of the neighboring posts.

  • Patent number: 11573925
Abstract: Techniques described and suggested herein include distributed deletion request processing and verification. For example, incident to migration of original data from a first data store to a second data store, verifications and confirmations related to removing the original data from the first data store may be performed so as to ensure the integrity of the original data represented on the second data store prior to removing the actual original data on the first data store. In some embodiments, the verifications and confirmations performed in connection with a deletion request may be apportioned to multiple entities, each of which may not fully trust the others. As a result, in some embodiments, a given deletion request may only be fulfilled if all of the entities involved in the verification process individually provide authorization to execute the deletion request.

  • Publication number: 20230005013
Abstract: Some implementations disclosed herein measure an effect of content exposure (e.g., lift attributable to ad campaign content) by comparing exposed and unexposed conversion (e.g., visit) rates. The measurement processing is distributed between the computing systems used/controlled by different entities: a processing entity and a conversion data collection entity (e.g., a selling entity) so that identifier-level conversion data (e.g., user-level conversion data, device-level conversion data, household-level conversion data, etc.) does not need to leave the conversion data collection entity system(s).

  • Publication number: 20220412192
Abstract: In one or more examples, a method comprises advancing a tubing string along a primary wellbore toward a junction having a low-side exit to a secondary wellbore, with a guide sub positioned at a leading end of the tubing string. The guide sub has a buoyancy within a well fluid external to the guide sub. The buoyancy of the guide sub is used to bias the guide sub toward a high-side of the primary wellbore while moving the guide sub across the low-side exit to a downstream portion of the primary wellbore. Subsequently, the guide sub is used to guide a fluid or tubular component between the tubing string and the downstream portion of the primary wellbore across the low-side exit.

  • Publication number: 20220379315
Abstract: A pulverizer may have such features as an ability to detect wrapping as well as possibly deter wrapping. A processor may also adjust the speed of rotation of the arms within the pulverizer and/or the speed of feed of input for various considerations. In fact the rotation direction may be reversed for at least brief periods of time in an effort to remove wrapped material. Vibration may also be sensed and efforts to prevent damage may be instigated by a processor.

  • Patent number: 11494510
Abstract: Some implementations disclosed herein enable matching identifiers across multiple sources. This may involve adding a unique attribute (e.g., anonymous unique homomorphic identifiers) and/or using randomization to enable comparing data from multiple sources, while also maintaining data privacy. In one example, matches across multiple sources are identified, for example, identifying that there are 100 user identifiers that are in private data sets of three different sources. Such matching may be used to enable private, multi-touch attribution. In another example, techniques are used to determine that data maintained by one source is not also within other sources (e.g., identifying that there are 200 user identifiers that are in data from a first source but not in data from a second source and not in data from a third source. Such determinations may be used to generate control group data that does not match data from other sources.

  • Patent number: 11484762
Abstract: A putting training device having the same size and feel of a standard golf ball yet adapted to exaggeratedly deviate from an expected line of action when mishit relative to a predefined line of action. The putting training device may have one or more inner cavities wherein an inner spherical object rolls along a tracked, concentric first curvature when the putting training device is struck with a putter accurately along the predefined line of action, and wherein the inner spherical object moves to a side portion of the one or more cavities upon the putting training device being mishit, resulting in the exaggerated deviation that affords the user a visual feedback they can learn from and recalibrate their future putts to.

  • Patent number: 11471068
Abstract: A system for determining an airway flow value in a patient is provided. The system comprises a computer system that comprises one or more physical processors programmed with computer program instructions which, when executed cause the computer system to obtain, from one or more health monitoring devices, airway pressure information of the patient and airway flow information of the patient; determine an airway flow limitation index from the airway pressure information of the patient and the airway flow information of the patient; and determine the airway flow limitation value for the patient by comparing the determined airway flow limitation index with an airway flow limitation threshold value. The airway flow limitation value indicates a number of breaths of the patient that are flow limited in a given time period.

  • Publication number: 20220322802
Abstract: The invention relates to a hair styling device, and in particular to a hair straightener. The hair styling device (10; 210) has a first arm (12; 212) and a second arm (14; 214), the first and second arms being moveable relative to one another between a closed or operative condition and an open or inoperative condition. The first member (12; 212) has a first heating panel (16; 116; 216) and the second member (14; 214) has a second heating panel (18; 118; 218). The heating panels (16, 18; 116, 118; 216, 218) are corrugated to increase the length of the path the hair must take between the heating panels. The first and second heating panels are spaced apart in the operative condition so as not to press or clamp the hair therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20220316264
Abstract: A spacer supports first and second panes of an insulating unit wherein the spacer also compressively supports a third inner pane between the first and second panes. The spacer defines a channel that receives the outer perimeter edge of the third pane. The spacer on either side of a channel neck is deformed when the third pane is inserted into the channel. The resiliency of the spacer material causes the spacer material on both sides of the channel neck to compressively engage the third pane of glass. The spacer thus holds the inner spacer without the need for an adhesive disposed in the channel. This configuration closes the channel against the pane preventing the internal surface of the channel from being viewed which provides a desirable appearance to the inner portion of the insulating glass unit.

  • Patent number: 11462812
Abstract: A hybrid coupler for dividing an input electrical signal to produce first and second output electrical signals which are substantially out of phase, the hybrid coupler including an input port for receiving the input electrical signal, and an input line for coupling the input electrical signal to a slotline. The hybrid coupler further includes an output line for coupling the first and second output electrical signals to a first output port and a second output port, respectively. The output line has a junction with the slotline. The hybrid coupler further includes a co-planar waveguide electrically connected to said output line and having a first end and an opposing second end, and defining, at the second end, a sum port configured to divert common mode signals received at said first and second output ports to said second end. The slotline transitions into the first end of the co-planar waveguide.
