  • Publication number: 20220070353
Abstract: A method of controlling camera and illumination systems may trigger a camera system to start exposing. An illumination system is also triggered to illuminate an infrared exposure of the camera system. The method also triggers multiple camera and illumination systems. In addition, a method of identification by a transmitter is provided. The method provides for modulating an infrared light source with a unique pattern to identify an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and then sending the modulated light pattern to a receiver.

  • Publication number: 20220070184
Abstract: A data recorder stores endpoint activity on an ongoing basis as sequences of events that causally relate computer objects such as processes and files. When a security event is detected, an event graph may be generated based on these causal relationships among the computing objects. For a root cause analysis, the event graph may be traversed in a reverse order from the point of an identified security event (e.g., a malware detection event) to preceding computing objects, while applying one or more cause identification rules to identify a root cause of the security event. Once a root cause is identified, the event graph may be traversed forward from the root cause to identify other computing objects that are potentially compromised by the root cause.

  • Publication number: 20220055888
Abstract: A system for filling a tank for a firefighting helicopter with water without ground personnel, comprising a pilot controlled valve assembly to selectively permit water to flow into the refill tank upon the receipt of a communication transmitted by a communication device within the helicopter. The pilot controlled valve assembly can include a supply valve configured to move between at least a closed state and an open state, a controller configured to control the supply valve, and a receiver configured to send a signal to a controller to cause the controller to at least open the supply valve upon receipt by the receiver of a communication meeting one or more predetermined criteria. The water tank can be filled from a water source, including a municipal water source, when the supply valve is open to provide a more efficient, semi-autonomous refill tank system greatly improves costly and time-consuming manually refill systems.

  • Patent number: 11256646
Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for handling ordered transactions. The apparatus has a plurality of completer elements to process transactions, a requester element to issue a sequence of ordered transactions, and an interconnect providing, for each completer element, a communication channel between that completer element and the requester element for transfer of signals between that completer element and the requester element in either direction. A given completer element that is processing a given transaction in the sequence is arranged to issue a response signal to the requester element over its associated communication channel that comprises an ordered channel indication to identify whether the associated communication channel has an ordered channel property. The ordered channel property guarantees that processing of transactions issued by the requester element over the associated communication channel in a given order will be completed by the given completer element in the same given order.

The arm's proximal section connects to the hook's shank and extends to a bend in the arm opposite from the hook's head, and the arm's distal section extends from the bend to the arm's distal end. The loop's neck connects to the arm's distal section its distal end and is angled out of the plane of the arm to the plane of the loop which is defined by the loop's curved crown section that extends from the neck and turns inwardly back toward the proximal end of the arm. The nose is situated at an end of the curved crown section opposite the neck and spaced from the arm. The loop's neck, nose, and curved crown section bound an interior space which receives the hat's crown portion.

  • Patent number: 11238047
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for identifying a co-applicant based on proximity to an applicant. In an embodiment, a processor determines a location of the applicant, and identifies a plurality of potential co-applicants that are collocated with the location of the applicant. For each respective potential co-applicant of the plurality of potential co-applicants, the processor determines whether a respective edge exists on a graph that connects the applicant with the respective potential co-applicant, and, responsive to determining that the respective edge exists, identifies the respective potential co-applicant as a candidate co-applicant. The processor generates for display, on a device of the applicant, a selectable option that, when selected, indicates that the applicant would like to use the candidate co-applicant as a co-applicant for an application. Responsive to detecting a selection of the selectable option, the processor activates the application at a device of the candidate co-applicant.

  • Patent number: 11204920
Abstract: A device may receive a user-specified query, and may construct the user-specified query as a query tree of operators that include zero or more operands. The device may produce, for each of the operators, a weight that indicates how valuable or confident a determination of relevancy of each of the operators is in relation to siblings in the query tree. The device may normalize the weights for the siblings in the query tree with a parent operator according to a normalization formula. The device may produce, for each of the operators, a score, normalized to a value from zero to one and computed for the document, that represents how relevant the document is to the user-specified query. The device may apply the query tree to the document as a whole as well as to positions within the document to determine the final normalized score for the document.
