  • Publication number: 20220217166
Abstract: An endpoint coupled in a communicating relationship with an enterprise network may include a data recorder configured to store an event stream of data indicating events on the endpoint including types of changes to computing objects, a filter configured to locally process the event stream into a filtered event stream including a subset of types of changes to the computing objects, and a local security agent. The local security agent may be configured to transmit the filtered event stream to a threat management facility, respond to a filter adjustment from the threat management facility by adjusting the filter to modify the subset of types of changes included in the filtered event stream, and respond to a query from the threat management facility by retrieving data stored in the data recorder over a time window before the query and excluded from the filtered event stream.

  • Publication number: 20220204210
Abstract: A carton with a housing including an outer layer and an inner layer and a sliding container enclosable within the inner layer of the housing. The sliding container can be moved from a closed configuration wherein the sliding container is enclosed within the inner layer to an open configuration wherein at least a portion of the sliding container is outside the housing. The sliding container comprises an engagement means engagable with an aperture in the housing inner layer when in register with the aperture to hold the sliding container in the closed configuration. The outer layer of the housing comprises means for applying pressure in register with the aperture such that pressure applied in register with the aperture is exerted on the engagement means to thereby disengage the engagement means from the aperture to allow the sliding container to move from the closed to the open configuration.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for providing logical to physical (L2P) table management using low-latency NVM to reduce solid state drive (SSD) random access memory (RAM) footprint. A method includes determining a logical to physical (L2P) mapping of a logical address to a physical address in a flash storage, for an operation directed to the logical address. The method also includes adding a data entry, comprising the L2P mapping, to an open journal structure in RAM. The method also includes adding a log entry, comprising the L2P mapping, to a buffer in the RAM. The method also includes flushing the buffer to a low-latency NVM storage in response to determining that the buffer has satisfied a size threshold. • Patent number: 11371708
Abstract: A premixer for a gas turbine combustor includes a centerbody, a swirler assembly, and a mixing duct. The swirler assembly includes an inner swirler with vanes that rotate air in a first direction and an outer swirler with vanes that rotate air in an opposite direction. The inner swirler vanes and the outer swirler vanes are separated by an annular splitter. The outer swirler vanes define an outlet plane, and the inner swirler vanes each have a trailing edge that is disposed at an acute angle relative to the outlet plane. In one aspect, the inner swirler is axially offset from the outer swirler. The mixing duct may also define fuel passages that deliver fuel to fuel outlets on the downstream end of the mixing duct. The premixer is designed for operation on gaseous fuel or liquid fuel.

  • Publication number: 20220195550
Abstract: An example track shoe, cutting edge, or other component of a machine is formed in a heated process, such as hot-rolling followed by air-hardening. The air-hardening process involves cooling the component by flowing air over the component (e.g., air cooling), such that the component is cooled at a controlled rate. During the air-cooling process, such as in the range of about 250° C. to about 1100° C., the component may be machined, such as by shearing, punching, drilling, etc. The machining may form the final shape of the component. As the air-hardening process is completed, and the component approaches room temperature, the component may have at least 5% bainitic crystal composition, and as high as greater than 80% bainitic crystal composition, resulting in relatively high hardness and fracture toughness. The final track shoe may have a hardness between about 40 HRC and 55 HRC.

  • Publication number: 20220164288
Abstract: Entries in a cluster-to-caching agent map table of a data processing network identify one or more caching agents in a caching agent cluster. A snoop filter cache stores coherency information that includes coherency status information and a presence vector, where a bit position in the presence vector is associated with a caching agent cluster in the cluster-to-caching agent map table. In response to a data request, a presence vector in the snoop filter cache is accessed to identify a caching agent cluster and the map table is accessed to identify target caching agents for snoop messages. In order to reduce message traffic, snoop message are sent only to the identified targets.

  • Patent number: 11339078
Abstract: A method of reducing the volume of float bath atmosphere lost from an opening in the exit end of the float bath is described. The method comprises directing a first jet of fluid having a first jet velocity followed by a second jet velocity towards a plane a conveyance for a float glass ribbon. An obstruction in the path of the first jet of fluid causes the jet to change from the second to a third jet velocity. The obstruction may be a portion of a roller positioned outside the opening or a float glass ribbon that has been formed on a surface of molten metal contained in the float bath that has subsequently been transferred through the opening. A float bath having sealing means to reduce atmosphere loss from an exit of the float bath is also described, as is an assembly useful in carrying out the aforementioned methods.

  • Patent number: 11342068
Abstract: Methods or systems (7000) are implemented for treatment with or monitoring use of respiratory pressure therapy device(s). The device may be for a respiratory disorder. A processor, such as a processor of a server communicating with the therapy device, may analyse data relating to respiratory therapy delivered by the device. The processor may generate data in the processor representing a prediction, such as compliance prediction(s), about progress of therapy based on the analysis. The processor may select an action to improve therapy based on data representing the prediction. The processor may take or prompt selected action to improve the therapy. In some cases, a processor may analyse usage data concerning a period of days with a therapy device and generate compliance prediction indicators based on the analysis. The indicators indicate whether compliance will be likely. The processor may recommend engagement action to improve compliance based on evaluation of the indicators.

  • Patent number: 11335077
Abstract: A method includes receiving an image of a real environment using a camera worn by a user, and determining a portion of the image that comprises an object of interest. Based on the portion of the image that comprises the object of interest, a surface representing the object of interest is generated. Depth measurements of the real environment corresponding to the portion of the image comprising the object of interest are received and used to determine a depth of the surface representing the object of interest. The surface is posed in a coordinate system corresponding to the real environment based on the depth of the surface and a visibility of a virtual object is determined relative to the object of interest by comparing a model of the virtual object with the surface. The output image is generated based on the determined visibility of the virtual object.
