  • Publication number: 20160239799
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems are described for generating a content related notification based upon managed logistics information related to a container using a container interface display apparatus. Such a container interface display apparatus records an update to the managed logistics information maintained in a memory of the container interface display apparatus and then accesses at least a portion of the managed logistics information maintained in the memory after recording the update. The container interface display apparatus then detects a notification event based upon the accessed portion of the managed logistics information. Such notification event is related to status information associated with the container or an item stored within the container.

  • Publication number: 20160239801
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems are described for managing logistics information related to a container using a container interface display apparatus. The container interface display apparatus may comprise a mountable housing, a display screen, a memory, a scanner, and a wireless communication interface. The housing is coupled to the container to permit the scanner to identify an item being loaded for shipment within the container. The scanner identifies the item, and the apparatus records an association in memory as part of managed logistics information that reflects an established and tracked relationship between the container and the item. The apparatus increments package count information (another part of the managed logistics information) to reflect that the item is loaded within the container. The apparatus generates electronic logistics monitor information on the display screen to include at least a portion of the managed logistics information related to the container.

  • Publication number: 20160239802
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for managing logistics information related to a container using a container interface display apparatus. A scanner on the container interface display apparatus identifies an item during loading of the container. An association between the container and the item is recorded in memory of the container interface display apparatus as part of managed logistics information related to the container. A scale within the container detects a weight of the item and sends a signal to the container interface display apparatus indicating the detected weight of the item (which is also recorded in memory as part of the managed logistics information related to the container). Electronic logistics monitor information (e.g., at least a portion of the managed logistics information) is then generated on the display screen of the container interface display apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20150248566
Abstract: Technologies for sensor privacy on a computing device include receiving, by a sensor controller of the computing device, sensor data from a sensor of the computing device; determining a sensor mode for the sensor; and sending privacy data in place of the sensor data in response to a determination that the sensor mode for the sensor is set to a private mode. The technologies may also include receiving, by a security engine of the computing device, a sensor mode change command from a user of the computing device via a trusted input/output path of the computing device; and sending a mode command to the sensor controller to set the sensor mode of the sensor based on the sensor mode change command, wherein the sending the mode command comprises sending the mode command over a private bus established between the security engine and the sensor controller. Other embodiments are described herein.
