    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for planning and/or carrying out a total knee replacement surgical procedure on a knee of a leg of a patient are described. Anatomical data for the leg of the patient is obtained, which allows the femoral mechanical axis, the tibial mechanical axis and the joint line of the knee to be determined. A planned proximal tibial cut angle and a planned distal femoral cut angle are determined. A total knee replacement procedure is carried out on the knee of the patient, wherein a distal femoral cut is made using the planned distal femoral cut angle and a proximal tibial cut is made using the planned proximal tibial cut angle.

At least a portion of available bandwidth of a private physical interconnect between a provider network and a connectivity intermediary's network is designated as the bandwidth limit of an interconnect partition set up on behalf of a customer at the request of the intermediary. The intermediary's network comprises one or more devices to which at least one of the customer's devices is connected. Access to one or more resources of the provider network via the interconnect is enabled. Traffic monitoring results associated with the interconnect are used to enforce the designated bandwidth limit of the partition.

The method further comprises frequency translating the IMD correction signal to a desired frequency that corresponds to a Radio Frequency (RF) location of the specific IMO product and, after frequency translating the IMO correction signal to the desired frequency, utilizing the IMO correction signal to compensate for the specific IMO product.

For example, in one implementation, a CGM device is configured for use by a HCP, and includes a housing and a circuit configured to receive a signal from a transmitter coupled to an indwelling glucose sensor. A calibration module converts the received signal into clinical units. A user interface is provided that is configured to display a measured glucose concentration in the clinical units. The user interface is further configured to receive input data about a patient level, where the input data about the patient level causes the device to operate in a mode appropriate to the patient level.

A processor receives a first signal indicating first paint color chip locations and determines whether a second signal is received from a second device within a threshold time, the second signal indicating second paint color chip locations. The processor assigns a first lighting characteristic to the first device and a second lighting characteristic to the second device, identifies a first set of LEDs associated with the first paint color chip locations and a second set of LEDs associated with the second paint color chip locations, and transmits an activation signal to the LED control circuit to activate the first set of LEDs based on the first lighting characteristic and the second set of LEDs based on the second lighting characteristic.

    Abstract: An apparatus such as a domestic oven incorporates an induction motor which drives a fan. The temperature of the circulating gas and the slip of the rotor, coupled to the fan, are used to determine the humidity of gas within the oven. The temperature of the stator coil is also taken into account. The fan is driven with relatively high torque to maximize the signal to noise ratio. The fan may be provided as the main fan or as a secondary fan dedicated to humidity measurement. In either case the fan has a long operational lifetime.

    Abstract: The embodiments described and claimed herein are a restraint system for securing a gurney in a vehicle. In one embodiment, a conventional antler and rail-type gurney restraint system is improved by the addition of a center latch restraint that engages with a latch member secured by a support bracket to the underside of the gurney. In one configuration, the latch member enters into engagement with the center latch restraint through lateral movement of the control end of the gurney. In that respect, the EMT may use the same autonomic movements used with the conventional antler and rail-type system to secure the gurney in the vehicle. Optionally, one or more of the gurney occupant restraint belts are directly connected to the support bracket, whereby occupant loads during an accident will bypass the gurney and occupant head excursions can be reduced.

The medical tape, the double-sided medical tape, the polyethylene foam, and the acrylic adhesive transfer tape bond to seal against environmental exposure.
