    Abstract: To the standard operations of an inverted index database, a new “To” operator is added. The “To” operator treats the standard single-level linear collection of records as being organized into localized clusters. Techniques for hierarchical clusters are presented. During indexing, hierarchical clusters are serialized according to a uniform visitation procedure. Serialization produces bit maps, one for each hierarchical level, that preserve the hierarchical level of each record and its location in the serialization sequence. The “To” operator accepts a list of records, each at a same hierarchical level in a cluster, and a specification of a hierarchical level that all the input records should be converted into. The “To” operator outputs a list of records, representing a conversion of the input records to the specified new level. When searching a Corpus-of-Interest for an Object-of-Interest, techniques are presented for greatly improving the process by which Exclude Terms are identified.

An inkjet-printed image is disposed on the ink-receptive layer, provided from one or more aqueous pigment-based inks, each having: a) one or more anionically-stabilized pigment colorants; b) one or more water-miscible humectants at 1-20 weight %, each of which has a carbon atom to oxygen atom ratio of at least 1.0:1.0 and only two hydroxy groups. A functional layer comprising an adhesive composition disposed on the inkjet-printed image; and a flexible polymeric film or paper adhered to the functional layer.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a system for correcting parallax error is provided. An image is received from a camera and a plurality of points is received from a LiDAR sensor. The points are placed on the image based on coordinates associated with each point. The image is divided into a plurality of cells by placing a grid over the image. For each cell, a minimum distance between the points in the cell and the camera is determined. For each cell, a margin is calculated based on the determined minimum distance. For each cell, points that have a distance from the camera that is greater than the minimum distance plus the margin are removed or deleted. The image and/or the remaining points are then used to provide one or more vehicle functions.

    Abstract: Two CAN bus transceivers utilized in a single integrated circuit package with the CAN bus connections between the two transceivers being inverted. Thus, one transceiver is connected to the CAN bus high and low lines while the other transceiver is connected to the CAN bus low and high lines. Both transceivers power up in a standby condition and each transceiver is monitoring for wake up signals on the CAN bus. The transceiver that is correctly connected to the CAN bus detects wake up signals. When the wake up signals are detected at that transceiver, that transceiver is brought to full operating state and the other transceiver is placed in a full standby condition. Additional input resistance is provided with each transceiver to maintain the proper input resistance for the integrated circuit.
