  • Patent number: 12210983
Abstract: The virtual queue system includes a virtual queue controller comprising a processor and a memory, wherein the memory stores instructions executable by the processor and is configured to receive a request, the request being associated with an individual guest, for a position in a virtual queue of an attraction, assign the individual guest to the position in the virtual queue in response to the request, receive ride schedule data for the attraction comprising information about a change in status of individual rides of the attraction, and determine a wait time for the individual guest for the attraction based at least on the position of the individual guest in the virtual queue, the ride schedule data, and historical guest throughput at the attraction. The virtual queue system is further configured to output a signal to a guest-associated device indicating the wait time for the attraction.

  • Patent number: 12184255
Abstract: A phase shifter for altering the phase of a radio frequency signal is disclosed herein. A Lange coupler is used having reflective ports that are coupled to artificial transmission lines. The artificial transmission lines provide a reflection transmission path, the length of which can be determined by digital control lines. Transistors placed along the length of the central trace provide independent paths to ground that serve to shorten the electrical length of the ATL. Accordingly, by selectively turning the transistors on/off, the electrical length of the ATL can be selected and thus the amount of phase delay introduced by the phase shifter.

  • Patent number: 12145636
Abstract: A method, device, and system for detecting a current leak in a traction power rail. Magnetic or electrical properties of the rail are measured. The measurements are performed using a rail instrument that senses the properties around the rail at various times while the instrument is being moved down the rail, such as using a cart or train. The rail instrument may be a flux concentrator or open Rogowski coil. The locations of the rail, about which the readings are taken by the rail instrument, may be determined and correlated with the measurements themselves. The method may comprise measuring the magnetic field of the rail along a length of the rail, and identifying a leak based on differences between the magnetic field measurements. The system may comprise a cart comprising the rail instrument and a location instrument.

  • Publication number: 20240338067
Abstract: A system gives application developers and other users access to the real-time power consumption data of the hardware they are running on. In some embodiments, the system can provide an application programming interface (API). The system also provides a way for users to declare what is their maximum power limit they want to stay under. This could be combined as an OS setting that users, or cloud hardware managers, can enable, which will tell the application it is running in this power-capped mode. The application will then use the real-time power consumption data to see how close it is consuming to the specified cap. When the real-time power consumption data meets one or more criteria with respect to a specified cap, the application can dynamically adjust one or more operations to keep the power consumption of itself under the specified cap.

  • Patent number: 12089012
Abstract: An auditory function screening device includes a controller, a speaker, a microphone, an actuator, a display, a communication engine, and a memory. The speaker generates tones of each frequency of a set of test frequencies. The microphone detects ambient noise. The actuator initiates an auditory function screening test. The display displays an indication corresponding to a total number of generated tones. The communication engine communicates with an external computing device. The memory stores executable instructions that implement the auditory function screening test, which includes: detecting an ambient noise amplitude, determining a gain adjustment, generating a predetermined number of tones of each frequency of the set of test frequencies at a predetermined gain level based on the gain adjustment, presenting an indication corresponding to the total number of generated tones, and causing a use counter to be incremented.
