    Abstract: An anti-pest film may be provided. The anti-pest film has an upward-facing reflective surface and one or more inner reflective layers overlaying an opaque downward-facing layer. The anti-pest film may include a barrier layer between two inner reflective layers, where sandwiching the barrier layer may be two malaic anhydride layers. The upward-facing reflective surface may be a vacuum metalized layer, and in certain embodiments, the vacuum metalized layer may be embossed for providing a plurality of half ellipsoid indentation for increasing the angles of incidents for reflected sunlight. Additional embodiments may include bookending opaque layers on opposing sides of the vacuum metalized layer.

An electrically insulating layer is disposed in the gap of one electrode pair. The sensor may include a RC oscillator circuit connected to the electrode pair having the insulating layer such that the electrode pair contributes to the capacitance of the circuit. The sensor may include a power supply connected to the other electrode pair to provide a voltage across and current through material in the pair's gap. The sensor may be disposed in a borehole to allow borehole fluid to enter the gaps and the RC oscillator circuit and power supply may be operated to provide a measure of capacitance and resistance characteristics of the borehole fluid.

A method of operating the hybrid nuclear reactor can include operating the reciprocating internal engine loaded with nanofuel in spark or compression ignition mode. A method of cycling the reciprocating internal engine, can include compressing nanofuel; igniting nanofuel; capturing energy released in nanofuel, which is also the working fluid; and using the working fluid to perform mechanical work or generate heat.

By managing access permissions with certified self-sovereign identities and distributed ledger techniques, HIR may be secured. Patients and other users may be registered to access a distributed ledger, such as a healthcare blockchain, employed to set, host and adjudicate permissions to access HIR. Authorized owners and/or patients with rights to their own HIR may be able to grant fine-grained and conditional access permissions to third-parties. Information transfers and transactions occurring according to these permissions may be logged within smart contracts incorporated in the healthcare blockchain.

The canopy caddy allows a person to remove a canopy from a truck bed, rotate it to a vertical position, and roll it to another location such as for storage. In one example, the user can accomplish these tasks alone or with minimal assistance and little danger of damage to the canopy. The term canopy used herein is intended to encompass but not be limited to small open box covers having lateral outward edges which rest upon the upper edges of a truck bed and provide additional covered storage. The term canopy used in this disclosure is intended to also encompass those apparatuses known as tonneau covers as well as some camper tops.
