  • Patent number: 7185123
Abstract: A processing system and method of communicating within the processing system is disclosed. The processing system may include a bus having a transmit channel, a receiving component, and a sending component configured to broadcast a payload to the receiving component over the transmit channel, interrupt the broadcast of the payload to signal a new bus operation to the receiving component over the transmit channel, and resume the broadcast of the payload over the transmit channel. The processing system may include an algorithm that prevents small payloads from being interrupted to initiate a new bus operation. The algorithm may also be used to limit the number of times a single write operation may be interrupted to initiate a new bus operation.

  • Publication number: 20050259303
Abstract: A novel photoimageable system for a two-chemistry system containing liquid photoreactive asymmetric acrylate compound containing sulfur, aromatic moieties, and optionally bromine, and an aluminum salt compound is disclosed. The photoimageable system has high dynamic range (M/#) and sensitivity and unexpectedly high temperature and high humidity resistance. The photoimageable system retains its dynamic range when exposed to 60° C. for 4 weeks while a composition without the aluminum salt compound lost 75% of its dynamic range under similar exposure conditions. In one embodiment, 2-10 weight % of a thio-butylacrylate dissolved in a two-component urethane matrix containing 0.002 to 1 weight % of the aluminum salt compound showed a dynamic range of greater than 5 for a 200 microns thick sample and retained more than 80% of the dynamic range after 4 weeks exposure at 60° C.

  • Patent number: 6794691
Abstract: A fabricated multiple layer integrated circuit in which adequate planarization is accomplished using irregularly shaped and properly spaced conductive filler features that are spaced in such a way that capacitive coupling of the conductive filler features with the active conductive regions is reduced. The overall layout area of the conductive filler features is reduced to thereby reduced capacitive coupling with active conductive above and below. In addition, a relatively small edge of the feature is closest to the active conductive in the same conductive layer thereby further reducing capacitive coupling.
