  • Patent number: 12611132
Abstract: A device and system for real-time visualization of the electrophysiologic activity of a brain, particularly at the cortical surface. The neural device can acquire, process, and display high-spatiotemporal-resolution electrophysiologic data in real-time across entire electrode arrays spanning many thousands of electrodes over identified anatomic regions. The system is compatible with thin-film cortical surface electrodes that record from neural tissues without damaging those tissues. The system can be used to guide diagnostic and therapeutic actions with high precision, and also provides the basis for a brain-computer interface.

  • Patent number: 12592721
Abstract: A system for compressing neural signal data using spatiotemporal data compression techniques. The system includes an implantable neural that receives electrophysiologic signal data from the electrode array, maps the electrophysiologic signal data to locations of each of the plurality of the electrodes, and compresses the mapped electrophysiologic signal data based on the locations of the plurality of electrodes utilizing a spatiotemporal data compression algorithm to define compressed electrophysiologic signal data. The implantable neural device can be connectable to a computer system that decompressed the electrophysiologic data for various downstream applications.

  • Patent number: 12453471
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for continuously monitoring a user to determine when cardiovascular events are likely occurring and to responsively provide a prompt to a user to engage in additional physiological assessment of the putative cardiovascular event. Additional assessment can include the user engaging an additional sensor to provide signals that are more accurate, lower noise, or otherwise improved relative to a continuously-monitoring sensor used to initially detect the cardiovascular event. Detection of cardiovascular events includes using a cardiovascular classifier to determine, based on the output of such a continuously-monitoring sensor, whether the event is likely occurring. Such a classifier can be received from a cloud computing service or other remote system based on sensor outputs sent to such a system.

  • Patent number: 12351115
Abstract: A vehicle electrical power system includes a phase module assembly of a multi-phase inverter. The phase module assembly includes first and second flat laminated busbars extending in orthogonal planes. The phase module assembly also includes one or more transistors that convert direct current into one phase of a multi-phase alternating current of the multi-phase inverter, and to output the phase of the multi-phase alternating current to the load. The phase module assembly also includes one or more capacitors conductively coupled with the internal positive and negative terminal connectors and with the external positive and negative bushings configured to be conductively coupled with the power source of direct current. The assembly can be useful for vehicles because the components of the system are configured to carry large amounts of current in a more reliable and sustainable manner.

  • Publication number: 20250162465
Abstract: Methods for adaptive derating fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) based on battery state of charge (SOC) are provided. The method calculates target battery current based on SOC, measures actual current, determines current error, and implements performance derating. This adaptive approach maintains SOC while preserving drivability, particularly for heavy transport. A vehicle control unit implements feedback control, producing a unitless derate factor between zero and one to modify vehicle performance parameters. The technology addresses challenges in scenarios like a trailer loaded outside predetermined parameters, uphill climbs, highway operation, urban delivery, and cold weather. By adaptively adjusting performance based on real-time measurements, the method optimizes power management, prevents rapid SOC depletion, and ensures operational capability in adverse conditions.

  • Publication number: 20240374207
Abstract: A system for detecting a neurological state of a brain of a patient is disclosed. The system comprises one or more recording arrays, a database, and a processor. The recording arrays comprise a plurality of recording electrodes having a diameter of less than about 1 mm and spaced by less than about 1 mm, and are configured to be minimally invasively inserted to the brain to record electrical signals from a target recording site. The database stores electrophysiological data relating to known electrophysiological signatures associated with neurological states. The processor is configured to receive recorded signals from the recording arrays, access the electrophysiological data from the database, identify electrophysiological signatures in the recorded signals based on the electrophysiological data, and determine the neurological state of the brain based on the identified electrophysiological signatures.
