Abstract: Methods of sequestering carbon dioxide (CO2) are provided. Aspects of the methods include contacting an aqueous capture ammonia with a gaseous source of CO2 under conditions sufficient to produce an aqueous ammonium carbonate. The aqueous ammonium carbonate is then combined with a cation source under conditions sufficient to produce a solid CO2 sequestering carbonate and an aqueous ammonium salt. The aqueous capture ammonia is then regenerated from the from the aqueous ammonium salt. Also provided are systems configured for carrying out the methods.

Abstract: Methods of producing solid CO2 sequestering carbonate materials are provided. Aspects of the methods include introducing a divalent cation source into a flowing aqueous liquid (e.g., a bicarbonate rich product containing liquid) under conditions sufficient such that a non-slurry solid phase CO2 sequestering carbonate material is produced. Also provided are systems configured for carrying out the methods.

The apparatus includes: a supply of fluid; a pump for delivering fluid from the supply under pressure and a handpiece in fluid communication with the pump. The handpiece includes a needle 30, extending from a rearward end proximal to the handpiece to a forward tip distal from the handpiece, a lumen of the needle extending to an opening at the tip to deliver fluid received from the pump to a tooth. The dimensions of the needle and the delivery pressure of the fluid are selected such that the flow of fluid through the needle causes a cloud of inertial cavitation to be formed forward of the needle tip.

The linear guide has forcibly guided movable elements, to which the pivot guide is hinged at a distance from the basic element. Two side faces of the furniture board lie one in a first and one in a second plane. The linear guide and the hinged connection of the pivot guide to the linear guide lie between the first and the second plane, at least in a closed state of the hinge.

Abstract: A multi-joint hinge has a mounting element which can be fixed to an appliance body and a hinge part which can be fixed to a door and which is held pivotably on the mounting element via a joint mechanism with a plurality of joint levers. The hinge part is biased in the closing direction via a spring and at least one linear damper with a damper housing and a piston rod displaceable relative to the damper housing is provided which brakes a closing movement of the hinge part. The linear damper is arranged with the damper housing in a rotationally fixed manner via a holding element within a lever and the holding element is fixed to a lever of the joint mechanism. The piston rod can be pushed into the damper housing via an actuating element which is arranged on a further lever of the joint mechanism.

The upper door is further pivotably mounted on the appliance body via a support hinge which is fixed to the appliance body by a mounting element that is connected to a plurality of joint levers connected to a further hinge part connected to the upper door. The joint levers of the support hinge have a greater vertical extent in the vertical direction than the joint levers of the double hinge.

Abstract: The present invention provides water-based energy curable compositions that exhibit improved printability, adhesion, opacity, and wash-up properties. The compositions comprise one or more inert water-based polyurethane resins and one or more water-based phosphate esters. Addition of the inert polyurethane resins and phosphate esters improves adhesion of the energy curable compositions to a variety of substrates.

Abstract: An RF position tracking system for wirelessly tracking the three-dimensional position of a tracked object. The tracked object has at least one mobile antenna and at least one inertial sensor. The system uses a plurality of base antennas which communicate with the mobile antenna using radio signals. The tracked object also incorporates the inertial sensor to improve position stability by allowing the system to compare position data from radio signals to data provided by the inertial sensor.
