  • Publication number: 20190138914
Abstract: Certain aspects of the technology disclosed involve systems and methods for a bot ecosystem having a social network layer and a knowledgebase layer. Bots can be generated having attribute data that define a personality of the bot. Tokens can be mined by bots via contribution to the knowledge base and interacting with other bots. Relationships among bots are managed according to preconfigured settings. Bots can be influenced and trained by updating attribute data based on interaction information.

  • Patent number: 10281851
Abstract: An imaging device has a drive gear assembly which operatively engages with a backup roll gear of a fuser assembly when the fuser assembly is inserted into the imaging device. Such engagement causes the drive gear assembly to rotate, and in turn rotates a drive motor coupled to the drive gear assembly. The drive motor includes Hall Effect sensors associated with a sensor arrangement that senses rotation of the motor. During rotation of the drive motor, sensor signals are transmitted to a controller of the imaging device, the controller counting rising and falling signal edges of the received sensor signals. Based on the number of rising and falling signal edges, a message is sent to a user of the imaging device whether or not the installation of the fuser assembly was successful.

  • Patent number: 10257197
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a request for data is received from an end-user device, the request including one or more contextual attributes of the end-user device. The request is forwarded to a data provider. Data is then received from the data provider. It is determined if the data includes tagged sensitive data. If so, then the tagged sensitive data and the one or more contextual attributes are sent to a data access platform. Then policy constraints corresponding to the data are received from the data access platform. The sensitive data is encrypted in a manner that a data privacy module on the end-user device only decrypts the sensitive data when one or more contextual attributes of the end-user device meet one or more requirements identified in the policy constraints, and then the encrypted sensitive data and the policy are sent to the data privacy module.

  • Patent number: 10232095
Abstract: A system and method for performing tissue therapy may include applying a reduced pressure to a tissue site, sensing a fluid parameter being applied to the tissue site, generating a fluid sensor signal in response to sensing the fluid parameter, and altering the fluid sensor signal in response to sensing that the fluid parameter changes. A fluid leak location mode may be entered. In response to the fluid leak location mode being entered, a graphical user interface that provides for fluid leak location functionality may be displayed. In one embodiment, the fluid leak location mode may be automatically entered in response to the sensor signal crossing a threshold value. Additionally, an alarm signal may be generated in response to determining that the fluid sensor signal crosses the threshold value.

  • Patent number: 10237403
Abstract: A system and method of blocking a telecommunication is provided. The present invention may include a network of subscribers in communication with a server. The server is able to count an amount of times a third party attempts a telecommunication with one of its subscribers. Each subscriber may set threshold amount of telecommunications. Once the third party has reached the threshold amount of telecommunications, the telecommunication attempt is blocked from reaching additional subscribers.

  • Publication number: 20190034399
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for creating tables using auto-generated templates. Reports including lines of text to be extracted into tables are received. An auto define input is received to auto-generate the tables corresponding to the reports. Groups of lines are identified from among the lines of text in the reports. A detail group and relevant groups are selected and identified from among the groups of lines. A final detail group is created by merging the detail group with at least a portion of the relevant groups. Append groups are identified from among the groups of lines not included in the final detail group. Templates corresponding to the final detail group and the append groups are generated. Text is extracted from the reports based on the templates. Tables are generated using the text extracted from the reports, by assigning the text from the text fragments to entries in the tables.

  • Patent number: 10133733
Abstract: The autonomous avatar driver is useful in association with language sources. A sourcer may receive dialog from the language source. It may also, in some embodiments, receive external data from data sources. A segmentor may convert characters, represent particles and split dialog. A parser may then apply a link grammar, analyze grammatical mood, tag the dialog and prune dialog variants. A semantic engine may lookup token frames, generate semantic lexicons and semantic networks, and resolve ambiguous co-references. An analytics engine may filter common words from dialog, analyze N-grams, count lemmatized words, and analyze nodes. A pragmatics analyzer may resolve slang, generate knowledge templates, group proper nouns and estimate affect of dialog. A recommender may generate tag clouds, cluster the language sources into neighborhoods, recommend social networking to individuals and businesses, and generate contextual advertising.

  • Patent number: 10129154
Abstract: A method, processor and system for controlling packet flow in a network provides for selecting a transmission scheme based on a payload rate for payloads arriving at a buffer. The transmission scheme includes data blocks comprising packets each having an associated payload, the data blocks have a variable packet transmission rate and a variable payload per packet ratio. The product of the variable packet transmission rate and the variable payload per packet ratio remains constant. The data blocks are sent to a network switch that deterministically routes the data blocks.

  • Patent number: 10122025
Abstract: A fuel cell assembly includes a pair of corrugated bipolar plates. Each of the plates is defined by peak portions and sidewalls connecting the peak portions. The plates are fitted and nested within each other such that the sidewalls are in direct contact. Some of the sidewalls include a stepped shoulder portion such that each of the some of the sidewalls and the peak portions adjacent thereto form a stair-step profile and define a flow channel having a depth greater than a width.

  • Patent number: 10116046
Abstract: An antenna farm enclosure for a locomotive cab includes a planar lid hinged to a base and bearing an array of compact antennae. A separate frame holds the antenna farm above the roof to permit wind and moisture to pass beneath, and allows for adjustments for irregularities in the cab roof. A chimney surrounding a port through the cab roof extends upward into the antenna farm enclosure, forming a dam that prevents accumulated moisture from entering the cab or the enclosure. Cables from the antennae extend through the chimney into the cab. A wide flange surrounds the lid and bears against two concentric gaskets to seal the enclosure. Specialized hold-down devices arrayed around the flange compress both gaskets, and comprise threaded shafts hingedly coupled to the base. The slightly arched flange asserts spring-like tension against the hold-down devices, which compress the arched flange to strengthen the seal.
