  • Publication number: 20170004124
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for creating tables using auto-generated templates. Reports including lines of text to be extracted into tables are received. An auto define input is received to auto-generate the tables corresponding to the reports. Groups of lines are identified from among the lines of text in the reports. A detail group and relevant groups are selected and identified from among the groups of lines. A final detail group is created by merging the detail group with at least a portion of the relevant groups. Append groups are identified from among the groups of lines not included in the final detail group. Templates corresponding to the final detail group and the append groups are generated. Text is extracted from the reports based on the templates. Tables are generated using the text extracted from the reports, by assigning the text from the text fragments to entries in the tables.

  • Patent number: 9528914
Abstract: A non-intrusive sensor system includes an array of sensors disposed in a process to measure various input process phenomena and a logic unit that analyses the sensor measurements using an empirical model to produce an estimate of a further process phenomenon not measured directly by any of the array of sensors. The sensors within the array of sensors may be non-intrusive sensors that measure input process phenomena in an intrusive or non-intrusive manner but are non-intrusive with respect to the output process phenomenon as none of these sensors comes into direct contact with the process fluid or process element exhibiting the output process phenomenon. The sensors within the array of sensors can be any type of sensors that produce a measurement of a particular process phenomenon at the same or at different locations within a process.

  • Patent number: 9432316
Abstract: A method of representing online discussions in conjunction with primary visual content is presented. In the method, the primary visual content is transmitted to a visual display for presentation to a user. A statement of an online discussion is received. In response to receiving the statement, a representation of the statement and an icon representing a source of the statement are transmitted in conjunction with the primary visual content for presentation on the visual display. The icon and the statement are coupled graphically on the visual display, and are placed near a periphery of the visual display. After a period of time while the icon and statement are presented on the display, presuming a second statement is not received from the source, the icon and the statement are removed from the display while the primary visual content is maintained on the display.

  • Publication number: 20160230670
Abstract: Apparatus and system for containing a rupture of a duct. The apparatus includes an air-permeable sheet, such as a wide-weave fiberglass sheet. The air-permeable sheet includes a strap arranged on a first side of the sheet such that it forms diamond-shaped patterns along a longitudinal axis. The strap can be made of a tight-weave fiberglass. Laterally-spaced corners of the diamond-shaped patterns include connection members that can be engaged to affix the strap and the air-permeable sheet around a duct. Various aspects include an air-impermeable air barrier surrounding the wide-weave fiberglass sheet and strap. The air barrier can include a window that directs air from a ruptured duct. Various aspects can be used on a bleed-air duct of an aircraft. The window of the air barrier can be aimed at a temperature sensor. • Publication number: 20160233525
Abstract: The present disclosure includes a fuel cell bipolar plate including a coating and methods for forming the coating. The bipolar plate may include a steel substrate and a coating contacting the steel substrate. The coating may include a plurality of alternating oxide-forming layers and elution resistant layers. The oxide-forming layers may include pure titanium, doped titanium, or a titanium alloy (e.g. doped/alloyed with niobium, zirconium, vanadium, silver, tantalum, yttrium, scandium, or nitrogen) and the elution resistant layers may include a noble metal or tantalum (e.g., gold, iridium, ruthenium, or tantalum). There may be 2-20 layers each of the oxide-forming layers and the elution resistant layers. The coating may prevent elution of iron ions from the steel substrate, for example, by forming oxide plugs in defects or pinholes in the oxide forming and/or elution resistant layers. The coating may also reduce the total usage of precious metals, such as gold.
