  • Patent number: 11111903
Abstract: A yaw auto-calibration method configured to calibrate an anemometer of a yaw control system to correct for yaw misalignment, includes collecting wind speed and wind direction data from the anemometer over a plurality of time periods. The method includes determining from the collected data a wind direction compensation signal associated with a plurality of wind speed ranges. The step of determining a wind direction compensation signal includes determining from a plotted performance value, a maximum performance value for each wind speed range and the step of determining further includes correlating the maximum performance value for each wind speed range with the associated average generator speed and plotting the maximum performance wind direction against average generator speed for each wind speed range. The maximum performance wind direction associated with the average generator speed for each wind speed range constitutes the wind direction compensation signal for the wind speed range.

  • Publication number: 20210084765
Abstract: A method for mechanically connecting a first electronic component, in particular a circuit board element, to a second electronic component, in particular a second circuit board element, includes arranging and orienting the first electronic component, which includes a first through-opening in a first direction, above the second electronic component in the first direction in such a way that a second through opening in the first direction or a blind hole in the first direction is arranged at least partially below the first through-opening in the first direction. The method further includes introducing a casting compound into the first through-opening and into the second through-opening or into the first through-opening and into the blind hole, and setting the casting compound in order to fix the first electronic component in relation to the second electronic component.

  • Patent number: 10061292
Abstract: A method for aligning a strip of labels, which contains a plurality of labels, relative to a cutting device, wherein the strip of labels is cut into labels by the cutting device that are subsequently applied to containers. In a learning mode, the strip of labels is automatically transported by a transport device and the position of the strip of labels relative to the cutting device is detected by a position sensor disposed as a first camera, and, in an aligning mode, an operator can then enter a desired cutting parameter in a machine control unit of an input unit. Information indicated of the desired cutting parameter relative to the strip of labels is then displayed to the operator on a screen, and the machine control unit controls the cutting device on the basis of the desired cutting parameter.
