    Abstract: A luminance space conversion section 66 of an information processing apparatus converts an image signal represented in a luminance space corresponding to an SDR into a signal represented in a luminance space corresponding to an HDR, and outputs the converted signal to a synthesis processing section 72 that performs alpha blend processing on an HDR image. In an adjustment mode, a parameter adjustment section 86 allows a display apparatus to display an adjustment image represented in the SDR and adjusts a parameter used for a conversion of the luminance space so that a change in a display image is made small before and after converting the luminance space. The parameter is stored in a conversion parameter storage section 84 after the adjustment and is used when a luminance signal conversion section 82 performs conversion processing.

When respectively transmitting pieces of content to a plurality of clients, the server determines event information to be transmitted on the basis of each event URL regarding the corresponding piece of content and controls event notification timing for each client on the basis of the corresponding session ID. According to the present configuration, the load of managing data in the event notification process on the server can be reduced and a correct event synchronized with transmission content can be sent to each client.

Only the MAC address of a controller (client) 351 authorized by a user is authenticated and registered in a MAC address table of a device 352, and the device 352 performs MAC address filtering for permitting access by the controller 351 (client) which is authenticated and registered in the MAC address table. Furthermore, by making a registration completion notification and by performing version adjustment, a reliable access control configuration is constructed. The device authentication apparatus 350 avoids access from an unauthorized party which is not authenticated and registered, and makes the presence of a server not known to the controller which attempts to illegally perform device authentication. Therefore, access control with high security is realized.
