Abstract: A fluid-filled elastic mount including an elastic body which is interposed between radially spaced-apart inner and outer sleeves and which at least partially defines a first pressure-receiving chamber containing a non-compressible fluid. A partition is provided for partially defining at least one second pressure-receiving chamber filled with the fluid. The partition includes a displaceable flexible layer which permits a pressure change in the first pressure-receiving chamber to be transmitted to the second pressure-receiving chamber or chambers. A variable-volume equilibrium chamber filled with the fluid is partially defined by a flexible diaphragm, and communicates with the first pressure-receiving chamber through a first orifice passage, and with each second pressure-receiving chamber through a second orifice passage whose ratio of a transverse cross sectional area to a length is larger than that of the first orifice passage.

Abstract: Disclosed are dynamic dampers for suppressing harmful vibrations excited in a rotary shaft which enable to complete the installation thereof around the rotary shaft by only fixing one end thereof on the rotary shaft without imparing the performances thereof. One of the dynamic dampers are provided with elastic members disposed at both ends thereof, only one of the elastic members has an engaging groove going round the outer surface thereof, and the inner diameter of one of the elastic members is made larger than that of the other elastic member.

Abstract: A dynamic damper of this invention comprises: a pair of ring-shaped fixing members disposed at a predetermined interval, inserted onto and supported by a rotary shaft; a cylinder-shaped mass member having inner surface larger than the outer surface of the rotary shaft, the cylinder-shaped mass member inserted onto the rotary shaft and disposed between the pair of ring-shaped fixing members; and elastic members integrally connecting the ends of the fixing members with the ends of the cylinder-shaped mass member. The dynamic damper has enabled to down-size the configuration thereof while maintaining the performance thereof and to make the installation thereof easier.

Abstract: An elliptical-shaped, plate type muffler holding member made of an elastic material having the structure of: a first holding part having a first through hole into which a supporting member of an automotive body side is to be inserted, a second holding part formed with a space between the first holding part and having a second through hole into which a supporting member of a muffler side is to be inserted, a pair of side parts connecting the first holding part and the second holding part at the both sides thereof, and a center connecting part positioned in the space between the first and second holding parts and integrally connected to each side part at the central portion thereof. According to the present invention, the muffler holding member has the center connecting part made of an elastic material and therefore, tensile and compression stresses are working in the center connecting part.
