    Abstract: An aqueous coating composition including (A) an amino group-containing organopolysiloxane, (B) water and (C) at least one of a surface-active agent represented by the general formula (I): wherein R1 to R4are a C1-C8 alkyl group, R5 and R6 are a C1-C6 alkylene group, R7 and R8 are selected from a hydrogen atom, a C1-C6 alkyl group and a C2-C6 acyl group, and m and n are an integer of 0 to 40, provided that m and n are not 0 at the same time and that of m+n ranges from 1 to 40 on the average; and a nonionic surface-active agent containing a perfluoroalkyl group and an alkylene oxide group. In the composition, (C) is present in a content of 0.01% to 5% by weight based on the total of (A), (B) and (C), and an alcohol is present in an amount not more than 10% by weight of the composition. The aqueous coating composition has superior uniform-coating properties and storage stability.

    Abstract: A polyorganosiloxane compound obtained by allowing a polyorganosiloxane having silicone resin structure to react with a polyorganosiloxane having silicone oil structure in the presence of a hydrosilylation catalyst, and having the both structures in the molecule. Also disclosed is a coating composition including the polyorganosiloxane compound, a silane or silicone resin having an RO—Si group, and a curing catalyst. The former polyorganosiloxane compound is compatible with silicone resins. The latter coating composition can provide coatings improved in flexibility without lowering the curability, surface hardness and weatherability inherent in silicone resins.
