  • Publication number: 20120050509
Abstract: According to one embodiment, stereoscopic glasses include a first shutter, a second shutter, a receiver, and a controller. The first shutter allows or hinders left eye vision. The second shutter allows or hinders right eye vision. The receiver receives a first control signal to open or close the first shutter and a second control signal to open or close the second shutter from a display device that, in synchronization with display timing of a video signal for left eye and a video signal for right eye, displays the video signals. The controller controls the first shutter and the second shutter to open or close based on the first control signal and the second control signal, respectively, while switching between stereoscopic view mode and planar view mode depending on the distance to the display device.

  • Publication number: 20120039435
Abstract: In an X-ray imaging apparatus that performs X-ray CT imaging, an X-ray generator (13) that generates an X-ray cone beam (BX1) and an X-ray detector (21) that detects the X-ray cone beam (BX1) radiated to an object (specifically, image object (OB)) are revolved for 180 degrees to be opposed to each other with the object being located therebetween. Further, the X-ray generator (13) is moved such that a revolution reference point (CP) that is set on an optical path (CB) of the X-ray cone beam (BX1) goes round of a predetermined oval shape while the X-ray detector (13) and the X-ray generator (21) are revolved for 180 degrees. Setting is made such that a CT image area (CA) to be imaged by the irradiation of the X-ray cone beam (BX1) has an approximately triangular shape through the above-mentioned operation.

  • Patent number: 8057048
Abstract: A projector includes an optical arrangement and a cooling arrangement. The optical arrangement includes a light source, a filtering component, a light modulation component and a projection lens. The filtering component filters the light emitted by the light source. The light modulation component modulates the light filtered by the filtering component to form an image. The projection lens projects the image formed by the light modulation component. The cooling arrangement is arranged relative to the optical arrangement to cool the optical arrangement. The cooling arrangement includes a blower, an air duct and a heat sink. The blower blows cooling air. The air duct guides the cooling air from the blower to the filtering component along an cooling air path. The heat sink is disposed in the cooling air path within the air duct and fixedly attached to the light modulation component to thermally contact with the light modulation component.

  • Publication number: 20110222646
Abstract: An X-ray imaging apparatus includes an X-ray generation part, an X-ray detection part, and a revolution drive mechanism. The X-ray generation part has an X-ray generator including a cathode and an anode, and emits an X-ray beam from the X-ray generator. The X-ray detection part detects the X-ray beam. The revolution drive mechanism performs X-ray imaging by revolving the X-ray generation part and the X-ray detection part around the object while the X-ray generation part and the X-ray detection part are opposed to each other with said object interposed therebetween. The X-ray imaging apparatus controls a restriction part to thereby restrict an X-ray transmission in such a manner that the focal spot size of an X-ray beam used in X-ray CT imaging of a relatively narrow imaging region is smaller than the focal spot size of an X-ray beam used in X-ray CT imaging of a relatively large imaging region.

  • Publication number: 20100246755
Abstract: In an X-ray CT imaging, an X-ray generator (11) and a two-dimensional X-ray detector (21) are opposed to each other between an object and are rotated by a rotary shaft (32) around the object. At least one of the rotary shaft supporter (61) and an object holder (40) includes a movement mechanism (42, 65) for moving a supporter (30) for the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector relative to the object. In offset scan CT imaging, the rotation of the supporter by the rotary shaft is performed simultaneously with the relative two-dimensional movement of the rotary shaft by the movement mechanism. In the relative two-dimensional movement, the position of the rotary shaft is moved according to the rotary angle of the supporter along a circular orbit around the center of a CT imaging region in a plane crossing the rotary shaft. Thus, it becomes possible to image a larger region of interest of the object.
