  • Patent number: 7347622
Abstract: In an X-ray CT scan, a distance between an X-ray generator and a rotation center and/or a distance between a X-ray detector and the rotation center can be changed according to a magnification of an image. A rotary device has an X-ray generator and an X-ray detector opposing to each other, provided to interpose an object between them. A rotary mechanism rotates the rotary device around a rotary axis, and a movement mechanism moves the rotary axis or the object in a plane perpendicular to the rotary axis. The rotation center in a viewpoint of CT scan different from the rotary axis is always kept at a point in a region of interest in the object according to a motion synthesized from the rotation of the rotary device and the movement of the rotary axis or the object.

  • Publication number: 20070242453
Abstract: With this projector, by forming in a lamp casing an aperture, for leading out a wire connected to an electrode terminal of a lamp, near that electrode terminal, and by fitting an insulating member which has an opening portion for leading out this wire, and a lid member which covers this opening portion, to this wire lead out aperture, even though the lamp casing is made from metal, still it is possible to ensure adequate clearances and creepage distances between the electrode terminal and the lamp casing. Furthermore it is possible to prevent light, or air which has been heated up, from leaking out from the wire lead out aperture.

  • Publication number: 20070236668
Abstract: A lamp unit and an intake fan are connected together by a duct, and a partition plate is formed within the duct so as to extend between the two ends of the duct, thus dividing the interior of the duct into a plurality of blocks, and thereby venting between the two ends of the duct. Furthermore, the partition plate intersects the direct optical path of emitted ultraviolet light passing from the lamp along within the duct towards the intake fan. This ultraviolet light does not arrive directly at the intake fan, since the partition plate cuts off the ultraviolet light emitted from the lamp directly towards the fan, so that it is possible to prevent the intake fan from being bathed in this ultraviolet light.

  • Publication number: 20070230192
Abstract: In order for a tip end portion of a holding plate not to catch up on a cover glass holder when a lamp unit is stored in a lamp storage unit, a surface of the cover glass holder which confronts the holding plate is processed into a shape which does not project, in concrete terms, into the shape of a curved surface or the shape of a sloping plane. By doing this, even though the tip end portion of the holding plate strikes against the cover glass holder, since it passes smoothly thereover without catching up thereupon, accordingly, it is possible for the lamp unit to be smoothly stored in the lamp storage unit.

  • Publication number: 20070216874
Abstract: A direction control plate is fitted near an exhaust aperture of a lamp unit, and a partition plate is fitted so as to surround the front and the bottom of the exhaust aperture. The direction control plate includes an upper plate, a side plate, and a lower plate, and is fitted so as to surround three sides of the periphery of the exhaust aperture (excluding the upstream side in the exhaust direction of a main fan) in the shape of a letter ā€œUā€. Furthermore, the side plate is provided so as somewhat to close the exhaust aperture, and so as to be inclined by an angle ? towards the wall of a case. If a lamp within the lamp unit should break, the direction of scattering of the broken pieces is controlled by this direction control plate, and it is possible to prevent these broken pieces from being scattered to the exterior of the device, since the broken pieces can be made to collide with the partition plate.

  • Publication number: 20060285182
Abstract: Paper (41) on which a first reference image (31) is formed in an image forming section (300), and a correction instrument (1) on which a second reference image (33) is formed, are placed at predetermined positions on an original platen (210). Reference images (31, 33) are read as an image for correction by an image reading section (200). An error in the image reading section (200) is measured based on the second reference image (33) of the correction image.
