  • Publication number: 20090241912
Abstract: A fuel supply system includes a plurality of fuel pumps, and one suction filter. The suction filter includes connection portions that are connected to pump inlets of the fuel pumps, and an interval adjusting member that adjusts the interval between the connection portions in accordance with the interval between the fuel pumps. Thus, it is possible to fit the suction filter to the fuel pumps without changing the interval between the fuel pumps. Because the interval between pump outlets is not changed, it is possible to minimize the problems that are likely to occur when the suction filter is fitted to the fuel pumps.

  • Patent number: 7570734
Abstract: In an X-ray computerized tomography scanner, a correction phantom embedding an X-ray absorbing object is put on or around a non-vertical rotary axis between an X-ray source and a two-dimensional X-ray detector, and two dimensional imaging data of the phantom is acquired. Then a locus of the X-ray absorbing material is determined in the two-dimensional imaging data, and based on the locus an ideal locus is obtained in the direction of the rotary axis. Next, a difference between the calculated position of the ideal locus and a measured position is determined in the direction of the rotary axis. The difference is used to correct deviation in the direction of the rotary axis.

  • Publication number: 20090168966
Abstract: In a medical digital X-ray imaging apparatus having a plurality of imaging modes including computed tomography mode, a supporter supports an X-ray source and a digital X-ray sensor having a two-dimensional detection plane for detecting X-rays, while interposing an object between them. An image reconstructor acquires data from the digital X-ray sensor and reconstructs an image based on the acquired data. An operator selects one of a first imaging mode and a second imaging mode. The second imaging mode has an irradiation field different from the first imaging mode and has an area to be read in the digital X-ray sensor smaller than that in the first imaging mode.

  • Publication number: 20090141248
Abstract: A projector includes an optical arrangement and a cooling arrangement. The optical arrangement includes a light source, a filtering component, a light modulation component and a projection lens. The filtering component filters the light emitted by the light source. The light modulation component modulates the light filtered by the filtering component to form an image. The projection lens projects the image formed by the light modulation component. The cooling arrangement is arranged relative to the optical arrangement to cool the optical arrangement. The cooling arrangement includes a blower, an air duct and a heat sink. The blower blows cooling air. The air duct guides the cooling air from the blower to the filtering component along an cooling air path. The heat sink is disposed in the cooling air path within the air duct and fixedly attached to the light modulation component to thermally contact with the light modulation component.

  • Patent number: 7502147
Abstract: Paper (41) on which a first reference image (31) is formed in an image forming section (300), and a correction instrument (1) on which a second reference image (33) is formed, are placed at predetermined positions on an original platen (210). Reference images (31, 33) are read as an image for correction by an image reading section (200). An error in the image reading section (200) is measured based on the second reference image (33) of the correction image. The first reference image (31) of the correction image is used to remove the error in the image reading section (200) from the measured error, resulting in an error in the image forming section (300).

  • Patent number: 7494261
Abstract: In order for a tip end portion of a holding plate not to catch up on a cover glass holder when a lamp unit is stored in a lamp storage unit, a surface of the cover glass holder which confronts the holding plate is processed into a shape which does not project, in concrete terms, into the shape of a curved surface or the shape of a sloping plane. By doing this, even though the tip end portion of the holding plate strikes against the cover glass holder, since it passes smoothly thereover without catching up thereupon, accordingly, it is possible for the lamp unit to be smoothly stored in the lamp storage unit.

  • Patent number: 7347622
Abstract: In an X-ray CT scan, a distance between an X-ray generator and a rotation center and/or a distance between a X-ray detector and the rotation center can be changed according to a magnification of an image. A rotary device has an X-ray generator and an X-ray detector opposing to each other, provided to interpose an object between them. A rotary mechanism rotates the rotary device around a rotary axis, and a movement mechanism moves the rotary axis or the object in a plane perpendicular to the rotary axis. The rotation center in a viewpoint of CT scan different from the rotary axis is always kept at a point in a region of interest in the object according to a motion synthesized from the rotation of the rotary device and the movement of the rotary axis or the object.

  • Publication number: 20070236668
Abstract: A lamp unit and an intake fan are connected together by a duct, and a partition plate is formed within the duct so as to extend between the two ends of the duct, thus dividing the interior of the duct into a plurality of blocks, and thereby venting between the two ends of the duct. Furthermore, the partition plate intersects the direct optical path of emitted ultraviolet light passing from the lamp along within the duct towards the intake fan. This ultraviolet light does not arrive directly at the intake fan, since the partition plate cuts off the ultraviolet light emitted from the lamp directly towards the fan, so that it is possible to prevent the intake fan from being bathed in this ultraviolet light.
